I was hesitant at first, but it really is a nice monitor to have, it looks nice from the back which is also important for me, the extra vertical space is a game changer while developing. Brightness and night mode adjust automatically, the ring light at the back is also very helpful to prevent straining your eyes. I love it on my dual setup and the frame in between is minimal. Great option if you're tired of a single ultrawide.

Best monitor I've used in years! My work in tech management spans coding, project planning, interviewing, team support, keeping an eye on Slack, managing my work-friendly EDM playlists, and watching LLMs do my job for^Wwith me. Ever since 16:9 monitors took over, I've struggled to find the right balance of keeping current work centered in my active vision without side-items distracting me from the edge of my peripheral vision. 16:10 monitors are a bit better, but most are QHD/2K+ resolution at 2560x1600. With gonzo resolutions on every pro laptop these days, dropping to QHD at the desk just felt sad. Enter this 28" panel at 15:10 / 3:2 aspect ratio and 3840x2560 resolution - game changer! BenQ did a great job wrapping this panel in a solid frame with options for a stand or support arm, controllable back-light to provide contrast in a dark room, dedicated dark-mode coding modes, and a USB-C charge+data that for-real actually works perfectly with my MacBook Pro.
