A: 4k is the resolution. Frames/second is based on the hardware, the cable has nothing to do with fps.
Q: Is this an Active cable, and what version of HDMI is it?
A: it plugs into my cable box!! This is a new cable no version !! Some cable box like comcast and tv require the HDMI without it you will not be able to use your cable box
