I was so pleased with my purchase of this antenna. I had switched over to full streaming for my TV services. I missed the local and national news . Streaming news services were always delayed. I decided to try the antenna and was so pleased with the channels available and the clear quality of the broadcast.

We bought first antenna, MOHU, for living room, really good but pricey. We this antenna for bedroom tv. It is way cheaper and works even better. We receive an average of 70 channels. Almost never scrambles up no matter what the weather is like. Very happy! No cable bill!

I am very satisfied with the Best Buy essentials Amplified Ultra-Thin Film Indoor HDTV antenna which I use with my 55" Sony TV. I live about 15 miles southwest of downtown Boston, MA, and am able to receive all multi-plexed network channels, wow! - I ended up using the supplied antenna amplifier for the weaker stations in our area to come in clearly as well. As for placement of this amazing little thing, as the picture shows, it's in my TV cabinet below the TV pointing at a window. Simply perfect. As such, I can very highly recommend this indoor antenna for everyone with over-the air TV programming needs who lives in bigger cities. Could not test this indoor antenna in rural areas.

Great brand. On my first scan I was able to pick up over 30 channels. I’m impressed with the quality with picture and sound . The antenna seems to be made with durable plastic. It comes with a very long cable so you can connect to the tv and move it around. Overall very affordable, easy to set up, and picked up a long range of channels.

Quick delivery and reception is way better than previous antenna! Tried to buy a couple more but was sold out pretty quickly. Very easy to install and use.

Great antenna at reasonable price that does the job and pulls in local channels over the air. Was able to pick up the four Major networks without issues.

Nice lil antenna. Receive about 20 channels in my area. More than my local cable station. I put it on the wall across from a window and gets great reception. I used double stick Velcro.

[Employee of bestbuy] I live approximately 5 miles from any towers so when I initially ordered this, I had doubts. As a matter of fact, I tried to cancel the order but was too late. When it arrived, I immediately unboxed. The assembly is easy. Without the amplifier piece, it picked up 31 channels. It picked up fewer with the amplifier. I have it placed on a high shelf near a window. I've decided to keep it. There's still some interference with FOX and NBC, but I mostly use apps and stream. For a thin cardboard looking thing, it works better than other antennas that I've tried.

I really love this thing. It catches all the channels I need. I point it towards the window and magic. Very pleased. You do have to scan for the stations but took like 10 minutes.

It doesn’t work where I live and I’m on the third floor in my building and there is nothing like trees to stop the signal, so I feel like I spent $30.00 for nothing. I just don’t if it’s the antenna or where I live.

For the price point, this is a great little antenna. My TV is on the second floor of a 3 story townhouse, and using the included cable I only had the option of one window/wall. Should I wish to experiment with a different placement the cable isn’t hard wired so it’s a simple swap out. I checked FCC’s site on the available signals in my area and so far, given some less than optimal weather conditions, I’ve been able to acquire about 80% of the listed channels. I’ve also learned depending on the weather conditions repeated channel searches will get me a different set of channels. Set up was very simple and scanning for channels didn’t take more than 5 minutes. As advertised, the signal is either solid or simply not there. But when it’s there the picture quality and sound are amazing, equal to and in some cases exceeding the quality of HD streaming services. I reason for purchase was for local news and the occasional sporting event and for that use case, this has been a great purchase.

Ok, so according to the pics and description, this is the exact same antenna as the Insignia one that is on clearance as of the date of this review, and was once twice the price of this one. Anywho, I've only had the antenna for a couple of days, but an antenna either works or it doesn't, right? It's not one of those items that needs months of usage before you can do a decent review. So, it works for me. I'm about 30-35 miles from Detroit and I was having a hard time picking up Fox 2 and some of the PBS stations. I hooked this up and now I have Fox 2 and solid signals on the PBS channels, as well as all of the other channels it picks up. That's all I can ask for out of an antenna. Plus you can either use the white side or the black side to match your décor. It's a fine, inexpensive, amplified antenna. Listen, if you live in the sticks and are more then 50 miles from your tv towers, you better buy a giant NASA sized satellite dish, because none of the indoor antenna's will work good. This antenna when it was under the Insignia name got just as good, if not better, reviews as the more expensive antenna's that were more then 4 times the price. Why pay all that money when this one works great.

I purchased this when I temporarily lost the cable signal to one of my smart TV's and wanted to be able to pickup some of our local TV channels. Unfortunately, just connecting the antenna to the TV and setting it on a table did not work. My house is constructed of concrete block, and this antenna is not strong enough to pull a signal through the walls. Fortunately the antenna is very thin and light, and once I taped it to a window, it pulled in strong clear signals, and the pictures were great. As long as you can get by with the length of cable that the antenna comes with you should be good. I also tried to extend the cable with an additional section of coax cable, but that didn't work very well.

I paid about $30 for this antenna. I plugged it in and followed the easy instructions. I received all the channels that I was looking for to watch football on the networks plus so much more! The picture is crystal clear and sometimes I have to move the antenna to one side or another depending on how clear or not clear it’s coming through. But overall I bought a 50 mile range. I am super happy with this purchase. And counting all the money that I am saving not having cable.

I was totally surprised. I’ve tried so many antennas that didn’t work. This was an open box so I grabbed it to try. When my son plugged it in and said it works great, I ran upstairs to see it. After so many failed attempts, couldn’t believe we found something that actually worked as advertised. Definitely a 5 Star find!
Going through a divorce and needed to cut back on spending so I cut the cord. I am very impressed with this antenna! I live I the city and get 70 channels. All local channels are in HD and cannot tell the difference between antenna and cable. I purchased an open-boxed item to save a little $. For a one time cost of $20, it provides me with exactly what I wanted/need-to be able to watch local news. I purchased a U MUST HAVE brand antenna from Amazon for $30 and get the exact same stations. I will caution against purchasing open boxed items online. I purchased a second open box antenna-like new and when it arrived it was missing all components-no stand, power cord or booster.
