The adapter works, but it cannot keep the full download speed. The speed was 350 mbps compared to 500 mbps.

There are some setup time when you need a Ethernet adapter for your MacBook (with USB c) and the market is filled up with expensive adapters without much additional feature or more costly high-end multi-purpose adapters. This product is a very good basic adapter the met my need. I used it some ten times and got good speed. The built is good, the price is reasonable to pay for and it works! On a con side, the unit gets a bit warmer after long usage not sure why but it was not a problem for me.

I occasionally have a need to access Much higher speed Internet from a public access ethernet connection than is available with my standard in home wi-fi/internet access. While searching for a new laptop that met all my needs including Ethernet port I was running against a wall. I started researching the potential of adapters to provide access to ethernet via USB-C (one of my requirements). This unit seemed to meet my needs and purchase price was less than the upgrade cost to include the ethernet function in many of the laptops I was considering. Upon receipt I was even more skeptical as all it was just 2 connectors. BUT it works great when plugged in. The main time I used it was when I was downloading Windows 11 update during installation of new laptop. By the time I got around to looking for what pop-ups/directions I needed to follow it had already been on the job and preforming flawlessly for several minutes. Small LED''s inside the RJ connector confirm operation and data transfer status.

This adapter is great. I performed a speed test comparison vs. a motherboard Ethernet port, and both ran at 369 Mbps, which is the speed of my fiber optic gateway. It definitely does not slow down my network connection.

I prefer to use an Ethernet connect to my office router for speed and privacy. My new Dell XPS lacked both Ethernet and USB 3.1 ports and only had USB Type C (Thunderbolt). This adapter allowed me to reconnect my Ethernet and has performed satisfactorily giving me security and maximum throughput from my Router.

Clutch, worked right away and was fast. Very appreciated and comes in clutch for any job that needs an Ethernet connections and the computer is so thin it can slice bread.

This is a good buy . . . reasonably priced, and works as necessary. Also, compact, so easy to carry in a laptop bag.

I have a gaming laptop and I like to travel with it when I visit my family or my friends. I prefer having a reliable ethernet connection for gaming and this is a perfect adapter to use when I am not at home. The usb c hub I have at home is mounted to the table and has other ports which I don't need while travelling. I tested the adapter with speeds up to 500 mbps and always got a stable connection.

As described, works with no issues, Carry with my laptop for those times wifi won't cut it

This was recommended to me by the Geek Squad when I was having trouble maintaining an internet connection with my iPad (through powerline networking). I was using a very complicated system with a lot of cables, and this simple connector was able to simplify how I connect to the internet and has been working great.

This works very well being an essential product line of BB. Windows 10 and 11 recognizes it quickly without any additional drivers. I will recommend that you don't move this around too much as most adapters the wire tend to bend too much and start fraying but that's for all adapters.

Works great with my Laptop. Since I keep my laptop on my desk which is where my wifi router is I thought it would be more secure and faster connection via Ethernet, due to other home devices using same wifi router.
