Table top seams really ruin it

It works, it’s a flat surface that I can put things on. But man is it disappointing that the table top is split into 3 pieces of MDF that are screwed together with some bars running under the table. Could they really not make it one single piece? It looks terrible and it feels like at some point the bars holding the tabletop together are going to let go and send my desktop and monitor tumbling to the ground.
