Bought this as an upgrade and replacement for my old Proctor Silex. Impressed so far with its durability and usability. As for aesthetics, the bits of stainless steel is a nice touch though it brings out the cheapness of the black plastic

Bought the Better chef coffee maker 4 cup model arrived yesterday everything was packed nice so was very surprised after I plugged in coffee maker to make a pot of coffee when I grabbed the handle on the glass carafe to pour a cup, the handle popped off the carafe (the top part of it) I caught the hot glass carafe just in time before dropping or spilling it on me and floor. Very disappointed that the carafe was not quality control inspected before shipping. Im just glad I didn't get burnt by this defective carafe. I have requested a refund no response yet.

works great!! purchased it in a haste but turned out to be great for my needs.. also recommended it to a friend and he has no problems. doesnot even need filter paper as it has a filter inside it that you could wash and reuse. not available in bestbuy stores which is sad.

I make coffee often and I need a machine at home. I recommend this item.
