The Beyond Fishing ProGrip is the 7 inch needle nose fishing plier built for the part of the job everyone else makes harder than it needs to be. Gripping teeth run the full length of the nose, so a treble hook, a split ring, a swivel or a slick soft plastic stays locked where you put it instead of twisting loose halfway through. The long, slim profile is the whole point. It reaches past teeth and gill plates to back a deep set hook out clean, keeps your fingers away from the business end, and gets the fish back in the water fast. A built in line cutter handles braid, mono and fluoro right at the jaw, and the crimper lets you build leaders and swap terminal tackle without reaching for a second tool. The molded non slip handles hold on when your hands are wet, slimed or gloved, and the contoured shape keeps the pressure off your palm through a long day of rigging, unhooking and retying. A tough black coated finish takes the abuse of boat decks, kayak hatches and the bottom of a tackle bag, and lanyard holes in both handles let you tether them so they never go over the side.
