About this product

Two CDs. 2021 . The record is a homegrown project that represents a reaction to their #1 album 'A Celebration of Endings' and a rapid emotional response to the turmoil of the past year. It is the ying to the yang of 'A Celebration', the other-side-of-a-coin, a before-and-after comparison their early optimism of 2020 having been brought back to earth with a resounding thud. It's the product of a strange and cruel time in our lives, but one that ultimately reinvigorated Biffy Clyro. InchThis is a reaction to 'A Celebration of Endings',Inch says vocalist / guitarist Simon Neil. InchThis album is a real journey, a collision of every thought and emotion we've had over the past eighteen months. There was a real fortitude in 'A Celebration' but in this record we're embracing the vulnerabilities of being a band and being a human in this twisted era of our lives. Even the title is the polar opposite. It's asking, do we create these narratives in our own minds to give us some security when none of us know what's waiting for us at the end of the day?Inch Album Tracks 1. Dumdum 2. A Hunger in Your Haunt 3. Denier 4. Separate Missions 5. Witch's Cup 6. Holy Water 7. Errors in the History of God 8. Haru Uraraunknown Male 01 9. Existed 10. Slurpy Slurpy Sleep Sleep 1. A Celebration of Endings (Live)

Biffy Clyro - Puzzle - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

2007 album from this oddly-named British band sees them making the bold and ambitious record that will both satisfy their huge and devoted fan base and win the hearts of countless others, cementing their reputation as the best and most important Rock band in the UK. The album includes the singles 'Living Is a Problem Because Everything Dies' and 'Saturday Superhouse', which found the band breaking into the Top 15 for the first time, and received high critical acclaim with the NME. Mixed in New York by Andy Wallace (Nirvana, at the Drive-In) and with artwork by Storm Thorgerson (Pink Floyd, Led Zepellin), Puzzle marks Biffy's transformation into a truly world-beating band. From the soaring 'Semi-Mental' to the bludgeoning punch of 'Saturday Superhouse' through the swollen intensity of the slow-burning 'As Dust Dances' and to the glorious foot-stomping live favorite 'Who's Got a Match?', Puzzle packs an emotional punch with 24-carat choruses shot through with Biffy's trademark sideways approach to songwriting. It also sees them anchor some of their most outlandish ideas (check the staggering '9/15ths') with the sort of clear and crisp melodies that this three-headed powerhouse have been hinting at since the days of 'Justboy' and '27'. Warner. Album Tracks 1. Living Is a Problem Because Everything Dies 2. Saturday Superhouse 3. Who's Got a Match? 4. As Dust Dances (Contains Bonus Hidden Track '2/15THS') 5. A Whole Child Ago 6.
