Digitally remastered two-fer containing a pair of albums from the Jazz great on one CD. Features the complete original album the Fabulous Bill Holman, which was Holman's second LP as a leader. From 1954 to 1960 he was one of the most in demand Jazz arrangers on the West Coast. However, he rarely recorded his own material. As a bonus we have added the album Kenton Presents Bill Holman, also in it's entirety, as well as two tracks from the LP Bill Holman's Great Big Band. This is an excellent testimony to the genius of Bill Holman as both an arranger and a tenor saxophonist. Poll Winners. 2011.

2015 that pairs RobIckes, the international bluegrass music association's 15-time Dobro player of year, with rising singer/guitarist Trey Hensley whom Ickes recently discovered while recording in the tri-cities area of east Tennessee. after collaborating with Hensley on an album track from blue highway's current , and inviting him to guest on some live shows, Ickes was inspired for the two musicians to record a studio project together. before the sun goes down is the result of that effort and it is a unique project in the way it seamlessly blends contemporary bluegrass and the spare studio styling's of classic '60s and '70s country music.
