Bird of Paradise / The Most Dangerous Game - DVD

THE MOST DANGEROUS GAME is one of the tightest, action-filled 62 minutes in movie history! a crazed Russian expatriate hunts people who shipwreck on his deserted island for sport... but McCrea and Wray are tougher prey than he expects. Note The Most Dangerous Game was filmed almost simultaneously with another RKO classic, King Kong, and shared many of the same sets and personnel.

A father and son on a steamer ship bound for a great hunting expedition in the wilds of Alaska are shipwrecked on a mysterious island. Greeted warmly by the island’s only resident, the relieved men are wined and dined and talk of hunting ensues. When their host reveals the true nature of his trophy hunts, the stranded men are forced to run for their lives or fight to survive on a desolate island that is a human hunting ground.

When Jack (Drake Bell, DRAKE & JOSH, ICARLY) an ordinary sparrow with dreams of becoming an extraordinary bird is accidently covered in colorful paint, he is thrilled about his new exotic appearance and believes that he'll now be able to impress Aurora (Ashley Tisdale, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL), a beautiful canary who has recently escaped from her indoor cage. But when Aurora's mean owner, Mr. Potter, finds her, Jack must enlist the help of his best friends - Vinnie (Ken Jeong, DESPICABLE ME 2), the loyal pigeon, and Skeeter (Jon Lovitz, THE BENCHWARMERS), the hyper hummingbird, as well as Rosie (Jane Lynch, GLEE), the caring bat and the wise Old Buzzard (Keith David, FREE BIRDS) in order to free her. And along the way, Jack and Aurora will learn that it's not what you look like on the outside, but who you are on the inside that truly counts.
