I absolutely love this smart bird feeder. The setup was very easy, and the camera quality is impressive. I really enjoy getting notifications when birds visit, and the AI bird identification makes it even more fun to learn about different species. The solar panel works well, and I don’t have to worry about charging it often. The cedar wood design looks great outdoors and feels solid and well made. Night vision is a nice bonus too. Overall, this feeder has made bird watching much more interactive and enjoyable. Highly recommend it for anyone who loves nature or wants a unique outdoor gadget.

From unboxing to setup, this thing impressed us. The instructions are crystal clear, and the package is surprisingly comprehensive and includes mounting hardware for thin trees, thick surfaces, and screws. Everything you need is in the box. Build quality is excellent. It looks stunning in our yard, and the solar panel actually does its job keeping the camera charged. No dead battery surprises. The app is intuitive and genuinely fun to use. The community feature lets you browse bird sightings from other users, which adds a nice discovery element. We haven't had many birds visit yet, but that's on us - likely a food choice issue, not the feeder. In the meantime, we've gotten some great footage of our dogs sprinting across the yard in front of it, so that's been entertaining. Two minor notes, neither of which affect the rating: First, motion sensitivity is high and the app does not have zone-based notification controls. Our feeder sits under a tree, so a gust of wind sometimes triggers an alert. Not a dealbreaker since the solar panel keeps it topped up, but a "quiet zone" feature would be a welcome update. Second, I originally hoped to integrate it into my Home Assistant system directly - that's not supported at the moment. However, it does connect to Alexa and Google Home, which covers most people's needs. Just worth knowing upfront if you have a more custom setup. Overall, a really well-crafted product with an app to match. Would make a fantastic gift - especially for retired parents who'd love the bird ID community feature without any technical hassle.

This is my second Birdfy, and it’s been just as fun as the first. We’ve had eastern bluebirds visiting all week, and it’s been amazing to watch them up close. The Cedar version looks great and blends naturally into our wooded yard. I also love that the solar panel is built into the roof which keeps it very clean. Setup was easy and the build quality feels solid. Very happy to have a second one. If you have the Birdfy Pro 2, know that this is a single lens that is not wide-angled, but the camera is positioned well to see visitors.

This product was so easy to set up right out of the box. Just a couple steps and then connect it to the WiFi via the Birdfy app and it was up and running! Added some seed and attached to it an outdoor garden pole and shortly thereafter we were notified of visitors and watched them feed on camera. Great picture/video angle and looking forward to track all the different birds that visit our new feeder in the future! Overall great purchase and highly recommended, thanks.
