Birthmark - How You Look When You're Falling Down - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Double vinyl LP pressing. 2023 . Legendary jazz guitarist and winner of 20 Grammys, Pat Metheny, presents Dream Box. The album promises to be Metheny's most intimate record to date InchDream Box is an unusual recording for me; a compilation of solo tracks recorded across a few years that I discovered while listening on tour. During the extensive touring period that made up most of 2022 for me, I found a forgotten folder on my drive. I often make quick recordings of things; a new tune, a new (or old) guitar, a standard tune, or just to try something out. I have a spot in my laptop where I stash these things. And truthfully; often never to be heard again.Inch

Digitally remastered edition of the Post Punk band's 1983 album. At the time their third album was released, The Sound was one of the UK's most acclaimed bands and were on the precipice of a commercial breakthrough. Having been upgraded from the Korova tag (also home to Echo & the Bunnymen) to Warner Bros., the group was met with tag demands to deliver a more commercial . In what many consider to be a willfully defiant move, The Sound delivered the challenging and more experimental All Fall Down, a record many of their most ardent fans still consider their most accomplished. It remains one of the great post-punk albums of the early '80s. The aura of Adrian Borland's well documented mental illness gives many of the songs a sinister edge. All Fall Down has proved itself over time to be an essential album it is a timeless, modern record that still sounds fresh, and it's high points match anything else in the group's canon.
