We got this for my wife, the coffee drinker. She likes the coffee this machine produces. It stays nice and hot. The problem is that there is not a window for the water reservoir. So, the water must be measured in the carafe. There is a graduated marking inside the reservoir, but my wife cannot see in it because, at 5' even, she isn't tall enough to see inside the reservoir while the coffee maker sits on the counter.

I bought this sale for $20. Easy to use, read and program the buttons. Display is clear. Auto brew works well. Sneak-a-cup feature---which pauses the brewing process, so you can grab a quick cup without having to wait--works as advertised. I like the removable water basin. It brews a good cup of coffee. Why only 4 stars? It "feels" cheap and fragile. It also makes a somewhat loud clicking noise when it starts brewing. The carafe has to be tilted very slowly when pouring, or the coffee spills out on the sides (slower than my prior coffee machine and others I've owned). In the end, it is a solid performer for the price I paid ($20 on sale). I would not recommend paying full price.

We've had this coffee maker before - makes great coffee, and it's hot from the beginning. It also has a feature - where you can choose to make stronger coffee - works great!

Would certainly recommend this coffee maker. Brews quickly and coffee is hot. Excellent choice, love this purchase.

Bought this coffee maker as a replacement for the same model I had that was getting worn down. No frills, works as intended. I do like the pour-a-cup feature that stops the brewing process if you're really craving your caffeine fix, but it will automatically start brewing again after 30 seconds...and no, I'm not going to test that feature.

it was quick to set up, but not entirely intuitive. The auto feature being on or off requires bending over to see the top of the small display screen and find the words auto. Not as obvious as the delay feature on my prior coffee maker, which had a nice small green light confirming it was set up. Also the actual temperature coming out into the pot is too hot for me. I need to add ice to make it drinkable. At least it does not cool down too fast.

This was a replacement for our old coffee maker at the office and we don't miss the old one. You can program it so when you arrive in the morning no one has to fight on who has to make coffee. Good choice and fair price too.

My dad had requested a "simple" coffee maker that he could just fill and hit a button to make coffee in the morning. This product has the Black and Decker name we trust and meet the desired simple operation.

When to old coffee marker gave up the ghost I needed a replacement. I didn't want a Keurig so after a little research I found this B&D. It has more features than I use but the important thing is it makes good coffee! It is cost effective and easy to use. Everything I look for in a coffee maker. Ok, B&D isn't known for coffee but it makes good joe. Enjoy!

While price was the main driver to buy this coffee make for a 5 week holiday need, it proved to be a Jewell which made as good a cup a coffee as this type maker can make!

Makes great coffee and brews it fairly quickly. The only downside would be the inability to "sneak a cup" while still brewing without it dripping a drop or two on the heating plate underneath. Many other coffee maker brands have solved this. Other than that, it does a great job.

This coffee maker is a huge upgrade from my old one. The coffee is very tasty and it was simple to setup

Coffee maker is simple with a good appearance. We love the auto shut off feature and the auto start which we can set for coffee to brew the night before!

Great coffeemaker especially for the price. Dint need one either all the bells and whistles just good solid reliable coffee maker and this fit the bill.

When coffee makers have tradioned to per-cup versions like Keurig, there was such a great value in replcing my standard coffee maker by buying this Black & Decker. Thought the 1-4pot option would allow me to brew smaller pots after filling the water porion fully, but all water is warmed and "brewed" when using this option. The maker does gurgle even out of the box...but to me that brings back memories of my younger days... a familiar sound. Love the carafe!!! Best feature... does not drip when pouring. Sometimes carafe is a little difficult to replace soundly after stealing a cup....so this can create an overflow mess. Not sure if that is an issue with maker or user yet.
