X Colour features The Prodigy, Melisa Whiskey, Roses Gabor, Andrea Martin and ASTR. Redlight started out in the early 2000s under the alias DJ Clipz, with a string of releases on various drum and bass labels. In 2009 he diversified his production style and adopted the alias Redlight, setting up the tag Lobster Boy for his productions. Now London based, he navigates the unnamed airspace between house, bass and beyond. Having already crafted a handful of jet propelled bangers which have won over fans and followers including Skream, Toddla T, Jack Beats, A Trak, Mark Ronson, Zinc, Annie Mac. Final Light, a one-time only project featuring Perturbator and Cult of Luna's Johannes Persson, deliver their self-titled album on Metal Blade. The project is the result of both a recently discovered kinship and the opportunity for Perturbator, at the request of Roadburn's Walter Hoeijmakers, to do a commissioned piece with a musician of his choice for the festival's 2020 iteration, which of course did not happen. Even though my music is mostly electronic and synth-based, we both have a knack for creating atmospheres, so I thought it would be a very interesting match.Inch As soon as the pair began work on their boundary-decimating songs, they knew that they had to be immortalized as an album.
