Black,Matt & Vogt, Seth - Doubt and Destiny - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Talk about a dance music pedigree. Seth Vogt has been producing world-class dance music for over two decades, all along remaining committed to his detailed, melodic signature sound, while still continuously evolving through changing trends and shifting genres. In short order he moved to Orlando, FL to study recording in the late 90s, worked for some well-known studios, and was mentored by the late Bill Hamel. From there, it's been strength to strength. His enviable CV includes projects with both mainstream and underground artists, boasting names such as Rihanna, 69 Boyz, Korn, Quivver, and PROFF, for labels like Def Jam, Atlantic, Bonzai, Black Hole, Jive, Sirup and tons more... including, of course, DISSIDENT MUSIC. And we're really excited to bring you his debut artist album, InchWhatever After.Inch OF NOTE At the time of this writing, Seth's current on Forensic Recordings (with The Stupid Experts and Oliver Harper) has lodged itself in the #2 slot on Beatport's progressive house releases chart, while his remix of Noel Sanger's A.F.F.T.E.R. has joined it in the progressive top ten as well. With TWO top ten releases at once, to say this is a musically special time for Seth would be an understatement! InchWhatever AfterInch is a culmination of Seth's musical journey to date- an audio compendium of career-defining and genre-defying pieces of audible art. His vocal talents are also on full display here; InchWhatever AfterInch includes several collaborations and vocal performances from Seth. Starting strong with his featured vocal on the progressive indie-electro anthem InchNever Turn BackInch (with Alex Lorensso) the listener is drawn into a world that promises something extraordinary. And it delivers! From the growling bass-driven melodic breakbeat of InchAfter The Turn,Inch progressing through the emotive vocals of InchUndertowInch (a collaboration with Magnetic G

Seth Vogt's debut artist album, InchWhatever After,Inch dropped this past summer to rave reviews and incredible DJ support. As we said at the time, it is Incha culmination of Seth's musical journey to date- an audio compendium of career-defining and genre-defying pieces of audible art. Inch We stand by that assessment, and several months later, it checks out. And a slate of amazing remixes of tracks from InchWhatever AfterInch are on the way over the next few months! InchLiquid AssetsInch is the first of several single releases and remix EPs from the album, and it comes fully loaded with two fantastic remixes. A collaboration between Seth and his brother, Dylan. JK. Vogt, InchLiquid Assets' is a deep, melodic groover; a euphoric exploration of chords and melodies that stir the soul and move the body. Bedrock artist and all-around legend Mono Electric Orchestra (aka Barry Jamieson; Evolution, long-time Sasha collaborator) steps up the energy (but just a little), and brings a new depth and groove to the proceedings, elevating the melodies to new heights. It's a truly sublime piece of music that will be played for years to come by fans of organic and progressive house alike. Taking things deeper into darker progressive territory, and returning to Dissident following massive support on his AN / NA EP earlier this year, is Panayiotis Tassis. He's had a run of incredible tracks recently and his remix of InchLiquid AssetsInch is no exception! We hope you enjoy these remixes as much as we do. Thanks in advance for your support! .
