So far I'm enjoying the newest Blazblue. I opted for the $20 dlc subscription which will add about 20 more characters through September with timed releases. You can also buy dlc separately as it releases. And there are a few free dlc characters. This game plays differently than the previous blazblue games, which is nice. It's faster and less technical than Central Fiction. It doesn't have the stylish setting of CF but it really isn't necessary for newbies since the basics are easier in this release. There is a lot of good content to play through. There are several interesting story modes and different endings for each. You can also play through as characters instead of the standard story mode.Loading times are super fast, which is a huge plus. Music is top notch as expected. So if you're a casual 2D fighting game fan, this is a great game to pick up. Fans of Blazblue will enjoy this game also. I also enjoy the persona 4 arena, in birth, and rwby characters. Ruby is almost a walking cheat code... they might have to nerf her a bit in later updates!Online vs is fun. They really have a great setup in the lobbies. Online has no lag for me typically. If you like 2D fighting games, this is a solid game that will keep one's attention for awhile.

This game in the BlazBlue series has characters from the BlazBlue universe, Persona 4, Under Night In-Birth, and RWBY. There is a story mode for each of the factions. The game's controls are setup so that even a beginner with fighting games can do well. The 2D graphics are beutiful and the music is fun to listen to. Overall this is a great game.

Crosstag is a fastpaced, high damage 2d fighting game that revolves on team based assist gamplay. The game simplifies many staples of the fighting game genre such as combo routes and inputs for dashing. This does take away some of the execution barrier which create a game that has many easy to perform high damage and difficult to block mixups/ comboes. The game is different enough for any fighting game fan to try out and easy enough for any beginner to learn the genre.

Yes I'm docking a point for the story mode. Its short and not very good. I expected more from them since I love the story mode of previous games. Combat is easy to learn, but the more advance stuff is quite hard. Controls are simplified so that any new player can come in and do decent combos and simple inputs for specials that is universal for all characters. Its a unique take on team fighters that offers a ton of flexibility. Great game and the net code is pretty good.

Amazing music and visuals, as expected from this company. All characters feel unique and game has mechanics to help people new to fighting games. That isn't to say the game doesn't have mechanics that might be foreign to some players, but it does a good game on balancing them so they're easy to learn.

Very fun anime fighter from Arc System Works. It's relatively simple mechanics and controls make it very accessible to newcomers. Unfortunately, the roster is very limited unless you're willing to pay for the many, albeit inexpensive, DLC characters.

This game is a fun game to play plus has great characters that are featured in it. The game makes it easy for new players to the fighting game scene as well as more seasoned players. Pick it up and play it if you are into 2D fighting games with a anime look to it. Plus i love the music in the game.

The game is a lot of fun! I was able to get into pretty easily since the controls and combos are a little more simplified compared to other traditional fighters. I highly recommend for people wanting to get into fighters.

This game is actually a pretty solid fighter. But, then again, it's ArcSys so of course it is. If you're a fun of the BlazBlue or Guilty Gear series, then you obviously know about this game. If you're coming in from Dragon Ball FighterZ background, then it can translate really well. I am glad I picked this game up. It might have a bit of a learning curve in the beginning, but once you get the jist of it, it is easy to keep up.

This is an anime game done right. I like the 5 button layout and would recommend to play it with a fight stick. I’m a Jubei/Gordeau player and I think this game has a low execution barrier overall allowing anyone to play. You can compare ranks from players around the world to see where you rank which is pretty neat. You have to pay like another $20 though for all the dlc but it’s not a full price game and it’s well worth it.

Simply put, if you are into Tag games like Marvel vs Capcom, or just fast fighting games in general, This is a solid pick. There is simplicity and complexity to its mechanics all at once, but once you get your head wrapped around, it will all become natural. Fast gameplay with a still expanding roster makes BBTag a great buy.

This game is a solid 2d fighter with a decent roster. The game has a basic combo system tap 1 button repeatedly and you could easily pull of a 6 hitter. the specials are cool and the tag system is alright.

As someone who has always been on the fence on whether I like tag fighters or not, this is probably the best modern one I've played. Some people may be turned off by the fact that its kind of a "2 button" fighter but the mechanics of this game are actually brilliant and the rabbit hole goes very deep. There's a lot of characters to choose from, matches are fast, netcode is pretty good as always from ASW. If Dragon Ball and Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite aren't your cup of tea, I highly recommend you try this game out. This game has a slow start but now its increasing even further in popularity and I for one am happy to see this title get the recognition it deserves. This is quality entertainment. It doesn't take itself too seriously like more complex fighters and is a terrific entry point into tag fighters if you've never played one or have been looking for a loaded fun factor title.

Great game so far I love that rwby characters are in the game, the game mechanics are simple to start but get much deeper, the tutorial is very good and shows you all there is to know. The Story has a lot of branching paths as well for the single player.

You're missing some dlc characters that really should have been in the game at launch. Other than that a solid fighter. And not bad at budget pricing.

Delivering all the excitement of past genre titles, including French Bread's Under Night In-Birth and BlazBlue Atlus Persona 4, this game brings back favorite characters for memorable showdowns with your friends.
