Bloody Reunion - DVD

Pregnant, stressed academic Ellie (Emma Draper) needed some respite, and she thought a journey to her late grandparents' isolated country home would provide it. Unfortunately, her bitterly estranged mother Ivy (Julia Ormond) was there to close the estate-and an expectedly chilly atmosphere would turn horrific as the family's dark and suspicious past is explored. Slow-burn suspenser from New Zealand co-stars Ava Keane, John Bach, Cohen Holloway. 95 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English.

Vincent Price camps it up in the role of his career, starring as Edward Lionheart, a hammy Shakespearean actor who is so angered after being passed over for a prestigious award that he commits suicide. Or does he? Having actually survived, Lionheart avenges himself upon the drama critics who snubbed him, killing them in gory murders based on the Bard's plays! Rousing blend of horror and satire co-stars Diana Rigg, Ian Hendry, Robert Morley, and Milo O'Shea. 104 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English. Region Free

After a fitful, her-career move out to the New York sticks, teacher Millie (Alison Brie) and musician Tim (Dave Franco) were finding their biggest challenge to continuing as a couple. They would uncannily, appallingly overcorrect after exposure to a strange substance left them constantly, inexorably drawing toward one another-and having their flesh fuse upon contact. Codependency meets body horror in this jaw-dropping, pitch-dark farce; Damon Herriman, Jack Kenny, Mia Morrissey co-star. 102 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack; English.
