After having the cell phone and using it for a couple of days, it started to give me the White Lines of Death. I did all of the normal troubleshooting steps like take out the battery and doing a factory reset and nothing. Contacted BLU support and they weren't much help. Advised me to do the factory reset and still the same thing. To get my replacement phone, I need to go to a third party distributor and their supports sucks as well. I am really disappointed with BLU since I would think that it being an American company would have better service. I am also disappointed with Best Buy for selling these phones as well. I would highly look at another phone than buying this one.

We needed a temporary phone. This was just what we needed. It went on line, made calls and sent/received texts. The touch screen was not as sensitive as an expensive phone, not did it work as well, but it was only $100.00 so we got what we expected. The glass is not very sturdy. For the price, yes I would recommend it, but not to be compared to expensive phones

This was purchased as a gift for a friend of mine. He is the primary user of this phone. I did check in with him on two separate occasions to determine if the phone is working for him and he said it has met his expectations with the exception of two areas: those being the date and time specifically the time reverts to Eastern time and will not keep the designated for Central time. whatever reason will not accept the network time. Because the phone is not heavily used there's very little research that can be done online to determine the root cause of the problem. Secondly, the other issue is how to go about upgrading the device to Android Lollipop 5.0. The website for BLU contains sparse information and nothing related to the upgrade. We have not contacted customer support yet but that obviously is an option to determine if these problems can be resolved. Overall the phone is a great value it was $20 less than the posted price of $99.99. The processor is adequate, the memory is adequate, it has dual SIM cards and an external sd card up to 64GB. The phone is only being used to check mail, post to Facebook, to surf the web and for streaming media, along with telephone duties and its handled everything just fine. Overall this is a fine starter phone for the value.

Blu is a company based in the US but manufactures thier phones in China making affordable but up to US saling standards. I got this phone as a backup because is unlocked and traveled to south america so I could buy sim cards and have internet access regardless the Country I was in. Not the best battery, but does the job, great camera, for such an affordable phone, procesor speed is fast, so gives a good performance of course if you have tons of photos it will start lagging, but other than that is a good great phone.

This phone works well and I purchased for international travel. It was easy to insert locally purchased sim card and had no real problems while traveling outside of the US. This phone is good deal for the value. Only negative is that menus and home button are a little confusing to navigate at first. I would recommend this phone for someone looking for basic lower priced phone for international travel.

I was looking for a phone for grandma who preferred a flip phone but those are hard to find nowadays. She had other requirements: lightweight, small, easy to use, camera, weather forecast (hence data-capable), loud ring and cheap. I have a family plan with Tmobile, so it had to be useable with Tmobile. This was the only phone we found that fit the bill. Unfortunately no sample phone was available for us to see and they wouldn't let us open the box to see it, but we bought it anyway. Since I only put one or two apps onto the phone, I kept it simple for her. It met all of her needs except she finds it confusing to use still (somewhat understandable given her age). A surprise feature about the phone is that you can switch the language (to Chinese even). Worked with Tmobile, so that was perfect. But the main complaints are: phone is quite slow (takes a long time to respond to a key press - e.g. to open an app, or answer the phone, or go back to the homescreen) and we ran out of memory within a week so I had to get a 64G micro SD card. It's an OK option for seniors; I'm just surprised there aren't any cheap options for the elderly - it just has to be a really pared down version of a normal phone.

Has all the smart phone options at a great price. It's unblocked, so just pop in your sim card and you're ready to go, no matter what country you're in.

Very good price and product. Difficult to find a case

As I previously posted here, I purchased this phone during the Christmas Season for my 13 year old daughter, as it was on a special discounted promo price ($20 less regular price). A few weeks later, I discovered that my old back-up Nokia N97 Mini phone was "dying" after six years of sterling service. I did not want to invest in another expensive phone for my back-up needs and other SIM. I was thus pleased to find that Best Buy again offered this unlocked Blu Smartphone at $20 off shortly after the New Year and subsequently bought another unit. Despite its limited internal memory, it presently serves my needs. An installed 32GB Micro SD card, which I also purchased on sale at Best Buy, addresses my storage requirements.

I bought this for a friend who saw my phone and he seems to be quite happy with it. It's perfect for travel because it is unlocked and the dual Sim makes it perfect for European travel.

I like it for the price. It's has some limitations, I couldn't download an app because of the system and it also does not have a lot of internal storage so I had to really choose a handful of apps and that is it. I added the card but it either works as internal or storage. I use the card as storage so I can move files around but that leaves me with little room for apps. I would recommend this phone to people like me that refuse to pay the price of the trendy phones...

Purchased this phone for a senior. She finds it easier to use than the more advanced and expensive phones. She is 75 and can navigate it like a champ; using approx. 90% of the features

Switching from a Samsung Galaxy was a big step but this phone was surprising decent for the price. Planning on buying another one with a bigger screen on a few months

Not that heavy good quality as far as I can tell. Good to have this kind of phone for travelers internationally its unlocked no worries for communications.

This phone is comparable in features to the Galaxy 6 and far more affordable. A great phone for my daughter.

Excellent Phone for the price, it was a unlock phone, I just insert the chip and start talking.

It is a great android phone for a cheap price. Blu phones are unlocked and great to use.

I bought two of these phones for my young children. I figured they wouldn't take care of the phones and then I could deny buying them a better, more expensive phone. Well, I was wrong, wrong and more wrong. First, they've used or adult family member's phones in the past, so they knew to take pretty good care of these. They left then lying around the house a bit, but I had bought good cases and the Blu phone just keeps on ticking. It's built solidly, like its an actual phone. At this price, how is that possible? The kids put app after all on this thing and it just kept running. Minecraft lite no problem. Everyone wins with these phones though, because in the end, I still don't have to buy the kids better more expensive phones. These phones have been fantastic. They are definitely not cheap toys, but solid, working, actual entry level phones. I would highly recommend them to anyone worried about making the leap to a smartphone, young or old. If you don't think you need one, try it for very little money... See what it can do.. learn it first. This thing is a very good value for the money.
