Uprooting his family after being assigned to a remote testing facility in Alabama, nuclear engineer Hank Marshall (Tommy Lee Jones, No Country For Old Men) is faced with a moral decision as an opponent of the atmospheric tests he's asked to complete. Adding to an already volatile situation is Hank's sultry and unstable wife, Carly (Jessica Lange, Tootsie, TV's American Horror Story), whose flirtatious nature begins to erode their relationship and bring unwanted attention to the situation. Rounding out the cast is Powers Boothe (Tombstone, Sin City) as Vince Johnson, the focus of Carly's carnal desire, and Carrie Snodgress (The Fury) as Vera, Vince's long-suffering wife.

The clock is ticking and the search is on for figure skater Zack Conroy (Matt Lanter, TV's Jupiter's Legacy) to find a new teammate when his current partner and former lover, Celeste Mercier (Sarah Gadon, TV's Alias Grace), is sidelined with an injury. In a leap of faith, Zack teams with Alexandra InchAlexInch Delgado (Francia Raisa, Bring It On All or Nothing), a tough-talking hockey player who is no stranger to the world of the sport. But can her skills on the ice with a puck translate to the world of competitive figure skating? What begins as an awkward pairing soon blossoms into genuine feelings of mutual respect and a strong personal attraction. Fearing that these distractions will compromise their goal, Zack and Alex must set aside their feelings to attain the ultimate win.
