Verdict. The BlueParrott M500-XT Headset is a capable option for both phone and computer use, as it can connect to 2 devices simultaneously, and a total of 8 devices in memory. It has other useful features like the mute function when raising the mic, 100 meters of range, and active noise cancellation. I think the primary downside is the price… but if you are willing to pay retail, this will give you a high quality and capable option for work and personal use. Pro tip: for a better fit inside the ear canal, install the ear piece backwards so that it creates a funnel shape. Initial impressions. I like that this headset is fairly low profile, so less noticeable than typical computer headsets. On the other hand, it is larger than most Bluetooth earbuds for cell phones. It comes with a charging cable and a total of three sizes of earpieces. The instructions are printed on the box and they are easy to follow. Setup. Initial setup is straightforward: turn on the headset, connect through your phone or computer Bluetooth settings, and then use the BlueParrott app to install the update and adjust settings. Design. The piece that goes behind the ear is quite bulky, but once the headset is on, it’s fairly comfortable. The actual earpiece doesn’t really go in as far as I expected. I tried all three sizes and the earpiece doesn’t stay seated all the way in for some reason. Then I read that you could flip the earpiece backwards to create a funnel shape; this fits better for me. The headset uses the frame to rest on the ear, rather than using the ear canal, which improves long-term wearing comfort. App. The app is somewhat useful. You can use it to check and adjust settings, and to customize the BlueParrott button. I think it’s worthwhile installing if you want to tweak some things, otherwise the headset is fine without it. Sound Quality. The sound on my end is actually quite good, but other people mentioned that my voice sounds a little robotic, but they confirmed that background noise was either completely gone or minimal. Volume gets loud enough, no problems there. Usage. I really like that the mute can be controlled by lowering or raising the microphone (this setting can be turned on/off in the app). It’s comfortable and light enough to wear for hours at a time. I prefer a one-sided headset so that I can still hear what’s going on around me. Using the headset with two devices simultaneously is a bit clunky. It looks like it doesn’t quite maintain two connections; I have to select the M500-XT in the BT settings each time, otherwise it remains “not connected.” Other implementations I have seen from other brands keep devices connected, then to switch to a different device, you pause the one you are using and press play on a different device and it switches automatically. Things I love: - Easy setup - Connects to phones and computers - Flip up/down mic for mute - It connects to 8 devices!!!! That’s amazing. And connects to two devices simultaneously (kind of) - Lightweight and comfortable enough - Up to 93% noise cancellation - 100 meter BT range! - Great battery performance - Programable BlueParrott button - Reversible design so you can wear it on either ear… Nice! - IP54 rating for protection against dust and moisture Things I don’t love: - BlueParrott should charge $5 or $10 more and include a charging dock so that this can stay neatly on a desk - The sound distorts at higher volume - It’s fairly expensive… Much more than I expected for something like this. But it looks like quality is there, and I hope longevity as well. Overall, this is a good option for a quality headset for work or personal use. It shines a providing a one-sided headset option so that you can still hear your environment, as well as supporting long-term wear by resting on the ear instead of in the ear canal.

The BlueParrott M500-XT is one of those headsets that immediately feels like it was designed by people who actually *use* headsets all day. It’s lightweight, comfortable, and surprisingly easy to forget you’re even wearing it. With multiple ear tip sizes and an ultra-light frame, it fits securely without that annoying pressure or soreness you get from bulkier designs. If you spend hours on calls, this is the kind of comfort that genuinely makes a difference. Comfort That Actually Holds Up What stood out most is how natural it feels on your ear. The build quality is solid, but not heavy, and the ergonomic shape keeps it in place even during long stretches of back-to-back meetings. Whether you’re pacing around your office or taking calls on the go, it stays put without constant readjusting. Clear, Pro Grade Audio The dual noise cancelling microphones are the real star here. They do an excellent job filtering out background noise - keyboard clicks, office chatter, road noise, you name it - while keeping your voice crisp and clear. People on the other end hear *you*, not your environment. Even in a car, the mics cut through engine rumble and highway noise better than most headsets in this price range. Battery Life That Matches a Full Workday With up to 11 hours of talk time, you can get through an entire day without hunting for a charger. And if you do need a quick boost, the fast charging USB-C cable makes it easy to top up during a break. The 300 foot Bluetooth range is another underrated perk - you can walk around the office, grab coffee, or step into another room without dropping your connection (it dropped once when I walked out to my garage, but the walls are very thick and it's at the other end of my backyard). Simple Controls and Smart App Integration The physical buttons are placed exactly where your fingers naturally land, so you don’t have to fumble around mid-call. It’s intuitive right out of the box. The companion smartphone app adds another layer of customization, letting you tweak noise cancellation, mic sensitivity, and other settings to match your environment. It’s a nice touch for people who want more control over their audio setup. Great for Real-World, Everyday Use In daily use, the M500-XT shines. Hands-free calling works smoothly, and the headset can even read incoming texts aloud so you can stay focused on what you’re doing. For people who spend a lot of time in their vehicles - sales reps, delivery drivers, field workers - the call clarity is consistently impressive. Even at highway speeds, callers reported hearing me clearly. Final Thoughts The BlueParrott M500-XT delivers exactly what professionals need: comfort, clarity, long battery life, and reliable noise cancellation. It performs well in quiet offices, busy environments, and even loud vehicles. Considering the price and the feature set, it’s an excellent value and a dependable tool for anyone who needs to rely on clear communication throughout the day.

The BlueParrott M500-XT Headset might be the best headset I have ever used. It is very lightweight, so much so that I often forget that I am wearing it. The clarity of the calls, the noise cancelling, the voice commands when I cannot use my hands to answer or reject calls, connect to my mobile device, control the volume, check the battery level, or mute a call are unparalleled with anything I have used before. I can use it on either the left or right ear. It is designed for both, as the microphone simply turns to whichever ear is needed. For me, I really like the fact that it is exceptionally light and does not cause any ear irritation with extended daily use. Most essential is that the conversation is noticeably clear to the person at the other end of the call, as well as to me, the receiver. It offers 93% noise cancellation, making it an excellent choice for people who work in noisy environments. It can also be paired with up to 2 mobile devices simultaneously and up to 8 mobile phones. It is brilliantly simple and comes with a USB charging cable and 3 sizes of EarGels. There is not much to keep up with to enjoy the convenience this headset offers. The first step in setting up the M500-XT for your personal use is to download the app from the App Store. The app will assist with pairing the M500-XT to your mobile device, provide online support if needed, walk you through the controls, which are ergonomically placed well, and explain voice assist. Voice commands work so well that I often just use them to control the headset rather than the device's physical function controls. Easy mute can be controlled from the BlueParrott Function button or by raising the boom. Pairing is always easier when the device is fully charged. Pairing was extremely easy, and I had no trouble. During pairing, you will be asked to connect the headset to your mobile device. After connecting, the firmware may update, and then it is ready for use. The headset will work for eleven (11) hours on one single charge. The device is also made of durable materials and is rated IP54, which means it is protected against dust and moisture. As a division of GN, Jabra devices just keep getting better because they incorporate GN technology. GN Store Nord designs professional audio, video, and headset solutions and is used in about 80 percent of hearing devices on the global market. I don’t think I would even look at another headset, because this one is perfect for me.

Like most of BlueParrott’s products, they are all about helping those keep hands free calls in what could be really noisy environments. This one, I would say is more for mild noise canceling on your side of things though. It does great keeping the noise down for the one you called, but I personally do not like the way it sits in the ear. It is lightweight enough to not bother the ear much for long use. It’s kind of like a thicker hearing aid. But, the shape of the in-ear piece, no matter which size I used, just did not create enough of a seal for best volume. With that said though, this meant I could hear the environment around me more. Provided the area is not too loud, the headset puts out a decently high volume that I could hear audio just fine. It just did not create a seal like most in-ear headphones would. Again, for a regular work environment, this is a good thing. Functions are simple with only 4 buttons, one being the outside “BlueParrot Button” that you can program with the BlueParrot app. It can be used for Answer/end call, Mute, Battery Status, Voice control, for a third party app like different providers PTT function, or as a button to activate the assist on a second BlueParrot device. You can also mute the call by flipping the microphone up and it can be rotated completely around to go on the other ear. Battery life is all dependent on usage. They state up to 11 hours of talk time, this could go for audio listening as well. But, with a few calls here and there, this thing can go days without a charge. With it just being USB-C to charge, it makes it pretty easy to charge up anywhere as well. Overall, this is lightweight, great for long days and decent noise cancellation for calls. The way it is designed it does not cancel noise for you, but is decently loud to make up for it. Makes for safer user awareness though.

This is a solid Bluetooth device that works well for multiple scenarios. The device’s design enables users to clearly hear their surroundings, making it an excellent choice for anyone who values situational awareness. The device is lightweight, portable, and designed to remain comfortable on the ear for extended periods. The device boasts impressive specs that include 11 hours of talk time, Bluetooth 5.3 with maximum range of 300 feet and IP54 rating to protect against dust and water. Noise canceling feature works well, and my sound can be heard loud and clear through Zoom application and phone call. The volume is loud enough to use it in a fairly noisy environment. The boom arm style microphone is clearly meant for those who value speech clarity. It works so effectively that you might need to remind yourself not to speak louder than usual since the person on the other end can easily hear you at your normal speaking volume. The boom arm can swivel and trigger the microphone to mute or unmute, which is a very practical feature when using the device for video conference. There’s also a button to handle multiple calls. BlueParrott provided an app to extend button customization and perform firmware updates. It’s a great communication device that works really well for video conferencing. Pros: Speech clarity Battery life Swiveling microphone Cons: Unprotected USB-C port

This BlueParrot M500-XT Bluetooth headset built for drivers has proven to be fantastic for the intended purpose. I was able to test the headset out thoroughly when I rented a big moving truck over the weekend. It worked like a charm and I was very pleased with it. In the box: BlueParrot M500-XT Bluetooth headset, USB C cable, small, medium, and large ear gels, and paperwork. Setup: You can pair up to 8 devices to this headset and up to 2 at the same time. Setup is easy to do. You install the BlueParrot App on your smartphone from the App Store or Play Store on your phone, then follow the instructions from there. What makes this headset so special for professional truck drivers? It blocks out 93% of all background noise due to the 2 advanced noise-cancelling microphones. Everyone I talked to said they heard me very clearly and did not have any issues with background noise at all. I could hear each person clearly. The clarity of each call was awesome. The noise inside the truck was obnoxious, but the calls were great. Comfort is a huge plus too. I had the headset on for a good 9 hours. Not once did it hurt my ear. The ear gels are very comfortable and sit perfectly. The way the headset fits around your ear and can be worn on the left or right helps too. So if you ever experience any discomfort, you can change it to the other ear without any hassle at all. Battery life is great. I charged the headset before I left in the morning, and it lasted all day. You get 11 hours of talk time out of a full charge. It uses the included USB C cable to charge it. Bluetooth range is 300 ft or 100 m. If you are inside a building with walls between you and the phone, you may not get the full range. However, if you are outside or in an open space inside, you may get more than 300 ft. I think it all has to do with frequencies around you and the phone or device it’s paired to, and walls or whatever may be blocking the way. Nonetheless, you do get more than enough range. Using the headset controls: The buttons on the headset are easy to use. They are as follows: The top button does multiple things, including turning the headset on and off. The BlueParrot button on the side you can push to talk and there are certain commands you can use (ex. answer, hang up, etc.), under the multi function button on the top is a status light, then under that is the volume up and volume down. You can also customize a button too. All the customization can be done in the BlueParrot App. You can also flip the microphone up to mute a call. This BlueParrot M500-XT is really a great headset for professional truck drivers and for non professional truck drivers like myself. I had never driven a big moving truck before so that was an experience for me. This headset made it easier and made me feel at ease knowing I had a good headset on my ear.

Blue Parrott is a line of headsets marketed as for on the go use for drivers that need premium voice call quality. Call quality is excellent due to the 2 premium microphones built into the mic boom. If voice quality is a priority for you then, I highly recommend this device. Setup is very straightforward. The first step is to download the App and pair the headset to your device. The App is full featured and allows a large degree of customization and control. The App is limited to iOS and Android devices but the headset can also be paired to other Bluetooth compatible devices. This device is made for drivers but can also be used in the home environment if desired. This headset offers Bluetooth Multipoint so it can be connected to more than one device at the same time. The headset is very comfortable to wear and as I already mentioned voice and call quality is excellent. The headset can be worn on the right or left side. A feature that I really like is that rotating the boom mic to the up position mutes the call. Subsequently rotating it back down unmutes the call. Overall I am very impressed with the performance of this device. If you make a lot of voice calls this is the headset for you.

The BlueParrott M500XT Bluetooth headset is a high quality, professional device that one can count on for both business and personal use. It is extremely well built and sturdy, and just feels premium in the hand. Here are the things I liked about it. The sound and microphone quality are extremely good. I tested it in about every way one can. I paired it to both my phone and my PC. The sound quality is crystal clear and you can hear every detail. I even streamed music through it and it sounded good. I had zero issues hearing people on the other end. I made phone calls and Teams calls on both the phone and PC. The microphone is also crystal clear as not one person I called had an issue hearing me. Even when the microphone is not directly by your mouth, it can still pickup your voice. As far as features go, it has about everything you could want or need. It features a volume rocker on the backside of the device. It has a power button that can also be used to hand up a call. There is a side main button that answers calls, mutes calls, and activates the voice commands. The microphone also moves up and down and automatically mutes a call when rotated all the way up. I found this feature very useful when on Teams calls as I did not have to hit the mute button on my PC or phone every time. It is very easy to pair, it is the same as most other headsets. The battery life is very good as I have used it for over a week and have not had to recharge yet. I also make sure to power down when not in use. That is just a habbit of mine. I am sure it would not last as long in stand by mode. It also can be paired to a phone and PC at the same time and adjusts between device automatically. Overall I must say that this headset will become your "go to" headset as it just fits nice and works great. It is well built so you don't have to worry about how you handle it. I highly recommend for someone who wants a robust, well built, worry free headset for every day use.

I needed a headset for making calls, so I was happy to receive this one. The package contains the headset, a USB-C charging cable (charger not included), three earbud tips in sizes S, M, and L, along with a safety and warranty leaflet. The first thing I did was charge the headset since the small indicator light was orange; it turned green once fully charged. Next, I downloaded the BlueParrott app and paired the headset with my iPhone 16 Pro Max. After pairing, I launched the app, connected the device, and completed the registration process. The app offers various customizable options, but overall, the headset itself is very straightforward to operate. I immediately installed an available update through the app. Using the controls is a breeze! The functions include powering on/off (by holding the button), answering, ending, or rejecting calls (hold), activating voice assistant (press), pairing mode (double press), a status LED, volume controls, a USB-C charging port, and muting both microphone and audio by lifting the boom arm. The round BlueParrott button can be customized for features such as voice control, battery status, muting, third-party app integration, a second multifunction button, and call management. The headset also provides about a 10-second sound check recording to let you hear your own voice. I appreciate the excellent sound quality of this headset—it’s the best one I own. I keep the noise cancellation feature on constantly, and it works effectively. Everyone I’ve spoken with says my voice sounds crystal clear, and I can hear them clearly as well. The headset is designed for use on either ear. When I move about 100 feet away from my phone, people sometimes mention an echo in my voice, although I still hear them clearly. This is not a major issue since I usually keep my phone close. Overall, I am completely satisfied with this BlueParrott headset. It is lightweight, comfortable, delivers high-quality calls, and is easy to use. I absolutely love them and can highly recommend ~ you won’t regret buying these!

The BlueParrot M500-XT is a great headset for those who need a headset for the home office or those who work on the road. The headset comes with small, medium or large ear tips, a usb-c charging cable, no charging brick but that’s pretty much the norm these days. The headset has a flip to mute mic and the BlueParrott side button can be mapped for different functions thru the app. The headset has Bluetooth 5.3, this gives you greater freedom to move around and away from your phone/tablet and still have good call/audio quality. With two noise canceling mics it also means the person you're talking to will hear you and not the noise around you. With two little dogs that like to bark at anything I can confirm they work. While on a call the person I was talking to said they didn’t hear them when they started barking. The headset’s design is very comfortable and has only three simple well defined buttons on the back, power and volume up and down. BlueParrott claims up to 11 hours of battery life. The M500-XT is a great option if you need a work headset that offers noise canceling and unlike earbuds you won’t have worry about them falling out while taking an important call.

Looking for a compact we are bud that is compatible with business push to talk to features? Parrot M500XT just might be what you want. Setup was super simple. Plug in to charge. Download the app. Turn on the ear bud and follow the directions to pair and connect to the app and you are all set. Settings for the parrot button can be configured in the app. To access voice assistant push the power button. Overall comfort is good. I wore for 2 days straight and it started to give me a little ear ache but its because I am not used to it. There are different options for the size of the bud so you can adjust accordingly. Battery life is great. 2 straight days of calls and I used it for listening to music and I am at 50%. Range is good. I can leave my phone in an adjacent room and walk around and it won't cut me out. Clarity is good. Folks on the phone did not complain about wind or noise. Size is nice. Not so bulky like other devices. Overall. Great device for what it is intended. Nice job blueparrot.

_____ *Pros: -Excellent noise cancellation. -Light and comfortable fitment. -Excellent Bluetooth range. -Customizable BlueParrott button. -Long battery life. -USB-C charging port. -IP54 dust and water resistance. -Voice control to answer calls. _____ *Neutral: -The maximum volume level could be louder. -A full charge takes about 2 hours. -The buttons are too flush to the casing. -Passive noise isolation could be better. _____ *Cons: -Takes about 6-7 seconds to turn off the headset – too long. -The distance between the power and + & - buttons are too far. The BlueParrott M500-XT Bluetooth headset is my current daily driver for phone calls, and it is for several good reasons. Compared to my older BlueParrott M300-XT and B450-XT, the M500-XT is much lighter and more comfortable to wear for extended hours. Unless I’m touching it to adjust the volume or moving the stalk up and down, sometimes I forget I still have it draped over my ear. The ear tips are soft and gentle, and since they are designed to enter your ear but not seal the ear opening tightly, they don’t feel intrusive at all and didn’t give me a stuffy feeling. There is a downside to this comfort, however, which is that passive noise cancellation isn’t that great, as all the outside noise penetrates through. This wouldn’t be a huge issue, however, if BlueParrott increased the maximum volume to go higher. As it is, even after cranking the volume of the M500-XT to 150% on my Galaxy S24 Plus, if I’m in a really noisy environment, then I’ll become distracted and find myself increasing the volume of my voice to try to talk over the noise. Hopefully, the hardware supports a higher max volume and BlueParrott will release a firmware update to crank it up a few more notches. Although I may be bothered by loud external noise sources due to the poor passive noise cancellation capability of the M500-XT, the callers on the other line enjoyed loud, distortion-free, and clear voice coming from my end. Thanks to the improved active noise cancellation (ANC) algorithm, my callers praised the volume and speech clarify, and they all asked me to stop using my older (crappier) Bluetooth headsets and start using only the M500-XT. 😆 Before making the M500-XT my daily driver, I was using the M300-XT (released 2021), and I noticed a few improvements as well as some step backs. The improvements include a smoother casing, lighter weight, more comfortable ear tips, and a relatively quick two-second button press to power on. Some notable step backs are that the buttons on the M500-XT don’t protrude out as much as the M300-XT so it’s harder to feel to quickly find the function I’m looking for. I also didn’t like that the distance on the housing between the power button and the + and – buttons are much farther apart than they were on the M300-XT. I’m sure muscle memory will kick in eventually but since I like to begin my first touch on the headset by locating the power button, I would’ve appreciated it if all the buttons were clumped closer together. As expected from a device released in 2026, the charging port is USB-C (as it should be) and the headset is IP54 rated against water and dust, which should extend the lifespan of the device. The BlueParrott phone app is simple in design yet well-organized in a logical manner, and the app proved to be snappy and responsive and I enjoyed using it to update the firmware and to customize the BlueParrott button to my liking. I only have one major gripe against the M500-XT and it’s how long it takes for the headset to turn off – you have to press and hold the power button for 6-7 seconds before you hear the “off” audio notification. Compared to the two-second turn on time, I don’t know why I have to press the power button for so long to turn the headset off. All in all, I’m quite pleased with the M500-XT, and it’s a good upgrade from my old M300-XT. The M500-XT looks better, feels smoother, it’s much lighter and more comfortable, and the ANC improvement is very tangible and much appreciated by my callers on the other side. The battery life is pretty decent, and the companion phone app is responsive and intuitive to use. Due to some aforementioned complaints, I cannot give the full 5 Stars but I think the M500-XT deserves a solid 4 Star rating. I think it’s a good buy, and I would recommend this to friends and family.

If you go to the Blue Parrott website, you'd be left with the impression their headsets are for truckers. Well, I'm not a trucker. I'm a work from home, on phone calls all day long worker. And I needed a headset which had a battery that lasts a full day, sounds great and is comfortable for hours of wear. And that's where the M500-XT comes in. It's lightweight (weighing in at .71 oz). Extremely comfortable. Has 11 hours of battery life. Is simple in operation and it's well built. I think the marketing folks at Blue Parrott might want to reconsider the audience they're targeting. These are great for phone calls, no matter what you do for a living. When you open the box, you see the headset and underneath is a USB A to USB C charging cable, along with two different sized ear tips. You'll want to download the Blue Parrott app from either the iOS or Android stores, charge them. Pairing is a simple process. When you power them on for the first time, they're in pairing mode and you open Bluetooth Settings, see the Blue Parrott M500-XT and tap pair. Then open the app and connect them to the app. Mine required an update out of the box, which only took a couple minutes. They came out of the box with medium ear tips and I replaced them with the large tips. Interestingly, the ear tips can just rest in your ear, or you can reverse them to fit in your ear more like an earbud. But just resting in my ear sounds great, is comfortable and you'll honestly forget you have it attached to your head completely. The M500-XT uses improved call quality with dual intelligent noice-cancelling microphone which uses Machine Learning and Precision Voice Pickup to eliminate 93% of the outside surrounding sounds. Translation, they're impeccably quiet and they deliver amazing clarity in phone calls. They can be paired with up to 8 different devices and since I alternate phone calls with my iPhone and Video calls on my iPad, it's so easy to go back and forth. They also offer voice control. If a call is coming in, you can turn on a switch in the App which let's you just say "ANSWER" or IGNORE to answer or reject a call. Of course you can also tap the power button to answer a call or end a call too. The BlueParrot button on the side of the headset permits additional voice commands, such as "List Commands" - "Battery Status" - "Connection Status" - "Pairing" etc. All in all, this Blue Parrott Headset is fantastic for people who need something lightweight, with a long lasting battery, simple to operate and sound terrific for phone calls. The Blue Parrott M500-XT met this goal and then some!

The BlueParrott M500-XT is Bluetooth headset for your phone or PC with excellent battery life, great microphone noise cancellation, and a clear speaker. Controls are intuitive and easy to use. Pairing is simple. The BlueParrott app was simple and easy to use. My only nitpick of this headset is that it was a bit uncomfortable wearing the headset with my glasses. The earpiece on the headset and my glasses were fighting for the same space. Still, I could wear the headset with my glasses, and call quality and battery life have been excellent. Nitpicks aside, this is an easy recommendation. Unboxing: BlueParrot includes the headset, two additional ear gels, and a USB-A to USB-C charging cable. Experience: Call quality was quite exceptional. We have had several windy days lately, and I had no difficulties with calls. Battery life is on track for the 11-hour estimate. The buttons on the headset are intuitive and the BlueParrott app allows you to customize the button further. The ear gel tips can be inverted to get a more secure fit, but this headset does not go into the ear canal itself. It looks like a big headset, but I forgot I was wearing it after a bit. The only exception to my comfort was that the headset was a tight fit with my glasses. If you do not wear glasses or have thin enough frames, this might not be an issue for you. Conclusion: I really like the headset. It works well. I have some personal nitpicks about comfort, but, overall, I still feel like this is an easy headset to recommend. 5/5

This Blue Parrot M500-XT headset is lightweight and simple to operate. It was very easy to initially set up. When I turned it on and paired it with my phone, it connected immediately and pulled up the Blue Parrot app in the Play Store with a prompt to download. After downloading and installing the app It walks through the setup of various options including downloading an initial update. There's four On/Off options on the app home page- SMS Reader, Mute w/boom arm, Voice controls for incoming calls, and Headset status Voice notifications. With the SMS Reader, there is the additional option of having the contact name read out instead of the phone number. When Voice Control is On, you can say Answer or Ignore to incoming calls. I was disappointed to discover that incoming calls are in no way identified by the headset. If you're not looking at your phone, you're answering blind. It would be nice if the headset announced the caller. The Blue Parrot button on the headset has six options to choose from for its function- Battery Status, Mute/Unmute while on a call, Third party app (there's a list of seven mobile apps to choose from that can be connected to, including the 3 majors - AT&T Enhanced PTT, T-Mobile, Verizon Push to Talk Plus), Voice Control, Second MFB(multi-function button for a second paired device), and Answer/End call. The Voice Control commands are limited to- Answer, Ignore, List Commands, Pairing, Connection Status, Battery Status, Cancel. The headset is as I mentioned lightweight and fits loosely over the ear, not in the ear canal. At first I was concerned that it was not secure on my ear, but I wore it for several hours doing chores around the house including bending and reaching and I was happy to find it stays put and is comfortable - probably due to the fact of its loose fit. The eargel is kind of bell shaped with the wide part facing the ear. It can be pulled off and turned around so the narrower part is facing the ear canal. The Blue Parrot headset has 80% noise cancelling mic. Communication is very clear both ways, talking and listening on the headset and for the person you're talking to. Besides the customizable Blue Parrot button, there's the on/off multi-function button and volume up/down buttons. The multi-function button besides On/Off is used for Pairing, Voice Assistant, and Answer/Reject a call. Using Voice Assistant, you can command it to make calls to your phone contacts. Battery life is supposed to be 11 hours of talk time. I had it on for several hours making one short call and fiddling with the options and it only used 2% of its battery life, so the 11 hours seems reasonable. The wireless range is supposed to be 300 feet, but I found that not to be the case, at least not with walls for obstacles. I got disconnected a little over 100 feet from my house with my phone lying on my dining table. Moving the phone from the dining table to a back hall window facing the direction I was walking I was able to get about 125 feet away without disconnecting. So maybe straight line with no obstacles the range will approach 300 feet. Included with the headset is a USB charging cable and a small and large eargel. It comes with the medium sized eargel attached. Overall, this headset is comfortable to wear and easy to operate. Calls are good quality and it has a good quality build. It's designed for people who do a lot of driving for a living, and it seems well-designed and highly functional for that role.

Hello uicc676 - We are very happy to hear that you are enjoying your BlueParrott M500-XT headset. Thank you for your positive feedback and 5-star review! It is wonderful to hear that you found setup easy and quick. Please keep in mind that many newer phones offer the feature to announce the caller, so this may be something that you can check with your phone manufacturer or service provider. While we are happy to know that you found the headset comfortable and secure, we wanted to clarify that the M500-XT microphone eliminates 93% of road, vehicle, and wind noise that your caller would normally hear. While the M500-XT offers a range of up to 300 feet, wireless range is determined by both devices in the pairing, so you may need to check the Bluetooth range of your phone, as well. Let us know if you have any questions or concerns. You can find our contact information on the Blueparrott website at https://bit.ly/3PDM7de, and we are always happy to help. I've used many bluetooth headsets and this one is by far the most comfortable one that I've ever used. Its very lightweight with easy to reach buttons and good call quality. I've been using this on my commute to and from work instead of connecting my phone to my vehicle so that I could test it in my vehicle and to see how well it did with road noise. I was happy to see that it worked very well, not perfect, but very well. The issue for me, and why I took off one star is that the eargels seem to be designed to sit on the ear and not in the ear. This method makes the headset very comfortable to use, but it also gave me the feeling that it would fall out with active head movements. To its credit, it never did, but I am used to a more sealed fit when using headsets and earbuds and those are usually the inner ear type and they provide better noise cancellation. With all of that being said, I am still very happy with the headset. The comfort is top tier, battery life is excellent. This headset is multipoint, which means you can connect two devices at the same time. It advertises that you can be up to 300ft away from your phone and still connect to the device. That may be the case in an outdoor, straight line situation, but in a house with walls, other electronic devices and interference, I didnt get that much distance. I did remain connected when i went out to the backyard and left my phone in the den, which is about 150ft and is about the max I would ever need. All in all, I really like this headset and would recommend it. It's lightweight, great battery life and connectivity.

So I just received my BlueParrott B500-XT headset about a week ago and have been putting it through its paces. I’ve used other BlueParrott headsets in the past and they’ve all been solid products that got the job done for me so I know this headset should be just as good if not better. Inside the box is: * BlueParrott B500-XT headset * Small/Large Earths (Medium is preinstalled) * USB-C Charging Cable * QuickStart User Guide Upon opening the package you will notice that they included the Quick Start instructions printed directly on the box, which is a good thing. It is recommended to download the BlueParrott app from the App Store for iPhone devices or the Google Play Store for Android devices. Once downloaded simply follow the instructions in the app to pair your phone and the headset together. When everything is paired you can tweak and adjust the headset settings to your liking within the app. Before using the headset I double checked the app to ensure it was fully updated as you can update the firmware within the app. On the side of the headset is the Power Button along with the UP/DOWN volume buttons. Underneath the headset is the USB-C charging port. Once I fully charged the headset, I was ready to test it out. All of my calls were crystal clear and those on the other side also stated that my calls were clearer versus other headsets I’ve used in the past. I love the fact that to mute a call, you simply raise the boom arm (mic) in the UP position, and back down to Unmute. The BlueParrott button is a customizable button for: voice control, or muting, as well as push-to-talk. Another great feature about his headset is its long battery life. Though I’ve not been able to fully confirm it, Jabra/BlueParrott claims 11 hours of talk time. Everyone loves longer battery life so this is an easy no-brainer for someone looking for a great headset for hands-free phone calls. Great headset with superior call quality and features. Perfect for anyone on the market looking for a reliable headset while working in an office or driving, such as a delivery person or truck driver.

I got this BlueParrott M500 for when I drive my Father’s older model pickup truck. It’s from the era that did not have ANY type of technology that we enjoy now. And I must say, I truly enjoy this headset. It comes well packaged and protected. I charged it for a few hours to make certain that it was fully charged and then I turned it on, paired it w/ my phone and within minutes I was able to use this product. I love the feel of the BlueParrott when I am using it and one of the things I like the most is the location of the volume buttons. It’s very easy once you learn the location of volume up/down to use them without having to remove them from your ear. I also like the fact this sits “on the ear” and doesn’t really go into the ear canal, and for me that’s important because I have trouble w/ ear buds or that type of headset simply because of ear fatigue, I can’t wear them for long periods of time. This headset is lightweight and very well made. It just “feels good” while you are using it, and the pairing of the phone and device is simple. I can charge these and use them for several days and the battery lasts that long. If you are in the market for a well made, comfortable headset, I highly recommend the BlueParrott M500-Xt.
