About this product
Bobbie Lovesong is the alias of American recording artist Madelyn Strutz. InchOn The WindInch is the debut full length from Bobbie, who produced, performed, recorded, and mixed the album herself in Taos, New Mexico. The album is a collection of psych-pop oddities and fizzy space age interpretations of jazz standards that are informed in equal parts by Larry Heard's breezy dream sceneries, LSD blotted Americana and kaleidoscopic 60's pop.Bobbie went to Taos, New Mexico in 2020 to live communally with a small group of musicians as the lockdown stretched on for months. Retreating into an unfinished Earthship, Bobbie passed the days writing and recording music, with nothing more than a laptop microphone and a few instruments. At once surreal, timeless and extraterrestrial, InchOn The WindInch can be heard as a hallucinatory sonic love letter to Taos.

The process is pure genius. The master audio engineers of our time have done what's never been done before - using advanced A.I. technology, they have taken the most iconic hits of the '50s and '60s and given them new stereo life without changing any of the original elements. The amazing energy of Little Richard's InchTutti FruttiInch and InchKeep A Knockin'Inch explode with brilliant clarity as do Barrett Strong's Motown classic InchMoney,Inch Gary U.S. Bonds' InchNew Orleans,Inch Elvis Presley's InchA Fool Such As IInch and InchOne Night,Inch Bobby Rydell's InchSwayInch and Swingin' SchoolInch and the great group sounds of the Chimes, the Fireflies and Phil Spector's first masterwork, the Teddy Bears' InchTo Know Him Is To Love Him,Inch plus much more. Open your ears and your minds as your listen to your favorite songs like it's the first time. 27 songs. Hit Parade Records.
