About this product
Not exactly traditional folk or country but rather a blend of the old and the new, this first from Bobtown draws on a variety of roots-oriented music genres which reflect each participant's unique contribution to the group. It's a little country, a little folk, a little gospel, and recurring themes throughout the album appear to be God, death and the devil. It's a little dark in places but the Gothic edge is masked in gorgeous, 4-part harmonies and lilting vocal and instrumental melodies.

Norwegian band Bo Outlaw & Loiten Twang Depot recorded their new album, InchLonestar State of MindInch, in Music City, Nashville TN. The plan was to just record the basic tracks in the studio of Jim Lightman, a country veteran in Nashville TN. But after hearing two tracks, Lightman insisted that they should finish the album with him InchYou have a great voice with a lot of character, that is something you should be proud of, and you possess a rare quality. You guys can use my studio for as long as it takes to get his project done, I wanna be a part of this.Inch This album is country the way Willie and Waylon made it but with a Norwegian twist. Contains 12 songs including the single InchSome Old Silver EagleInch.
![Lindisfarne - Untapped and Acoustic - COMPACT DISCS [CD]](https://pisces.bbystatic.com/image2/BestBuy_US/images/products/f07d4cf0-82cd-4284-a26b-27e0ba03ca14.jpg;maxHeight=422;maxWidth=264?format=webp)
(2-CD set) Recorded live during a four week acoustic tour, this album is Lindisfarne's first recording since the sudden death of co-founder and principal songwriter Alan Hull in 1995. The fifteen tracks show that the band's sound was as influenced as much by the R'n'B of the States as it was their own North East roots. Slide guitar, blues harmonica and vocals mix with whistle, accordion and banjo in versions of many of the band's classic numbers. Untapped & Acoustic not only shows that Lindisfarne are still as striking as ever in live performance, but also serves as a fitting testament to Alan's unique songwriting talent.
