Bodega's upcoming brand-new album 'All Inside Aquarium' sees the band expanding far beyond their minimalist post-punk origins towards soaring anthemic rock, sans the 'indie'. The group's goal was, InchLet's go back to melodic tunes, let's be more of a proper rock band,Inch Hozie explains. Sonically, the band aimed for Inchthis late '80's/early 90's Stone Roses-meets-Janes Addiction thing, with more riffing and guitar solos.Inch Where the band's earlier material took a more explicitly sociopolitical bent, Hozie and Belfilgio's writing on 'All Inside Aquarium' is deliberately more concerned with the personal, poetics, and play. With each single from the album, the band have created a limited edition 7Inch singles series. Each 7Inch has a unique colour and individual exclusive artwork that corresponds to a section of the 'All Inside Aquarium' album cover designed by Nikki. Bodega, passionate defenders of the lost art of curating B-sides, made sure that each disc comes with an exclusive B-side track that's not available digitally, or on the album. Vinyl collectors and Bodega heads will surely want to catch them all. Album Tracks 1. All Inside Aquarium 2. Weather Me 3. Literary World 4. Astro Night Ride 5. Pick Up the Check 6. Oxygen 7. Vinyl LP pressing, The mini album Shiny New Model covers various thematic ground history alive in the present, the sadness of modern consumption, adultery via sexting, and a song set inside an actual Bodega ('Shiny New Model'). In addition to the breezy hook-filled songs, the vinyl and CD feature an extended improvised version of the group's staple track Truth Is Not Punishment (an abbreviated 'radio edit' of this track will be available on streaming services). The band has been using this song as a vehicle for live improvisation for a year and decided to use a day of the session to experiment with capturing the song's new, extended boundaries in the studio.
