The band's first full-length record and first from their own Thousand Tongues tag. The songs are engaging and memorably crafted, drawing on a mixture of traditional; the transcendent intensity of gospel, the brutish gusto of punk rocking, the earnest idiosyncrasy of American folk, the sonic inclusiveness of tropical, the planned jamming of prog, and the sincere bombast of musical theatre. Bodies of Water have added an auxiliary corps of musicians that can swell to as many as eleven; hitting, blaring, strumming, and bowing away, but the four core member’s vocal synchronicity remains the group's hallmark.

An exquisite programme of modern chamber music which succeds in being both thoroughly modern and individual whilst also maintaining traditional tonailty and lyrical qualities. All of these works are recorded here for the first time and are without exception minor masterpieces of the genre. This is the second in Metier's new lyrical chamber music series.

Since Bodies of Water's last record, 2008's 'A Certain Feeling,' much has happened to them; travels throughout N. America in their stalwart motor-home, the departure and arrival of various band members, the unexpected notoriety of core duo David & Meredith's crypto-disco trio 'Music Go Music,' and the construction of their drafty yet dependable home studio. From this milieu has emerged the singular statement that is InchTwist Again.Inch Recorded and mixed at home by David and (a newly pregnant) Meredith in Highland Park (their northeast L.A. neighborhood), the album is a work out of time.
