Body Meat - Starchris - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Trio Corelli - 12 Sonatas [COMPACT DISCS] date 02/14/2012

On Starchris, Body Meat (real name Christopher Taylor) puts the distinctive musical language he has spent years perfecting to the test. Across 13 tracks, he explores the roughest edges of R&B, IDM, club music, experimental pop, trap, footwork, and metal, only to soften them into something remarkably warm and welcoming, finding catharsis amongst chaos.

Acknowledged as an innovator in the electronic music scene, MBM continues to stretch sonic boundaries and influence new generations of sound activist. Past production/remixing projects include Public Enemy, David Bowie, Orbital, Nine Inch Nails, David Byrne, Bursh Depeche Mode and Tower of Power. Supporting the group on this are Blue Series alumni Craig Taborn on keyboards, Bad Plus skins man Dave King and Peter Gordon on flute. InchWithout MBMInchs groundbreaking amalgams of Hip-Hop and Industrial Dance music, modern dance music genres such as Big Beat and Drum and Bass wouldn't exist... one of Britain's most inventive practitioner of sampladelic fun. - Alternative PressInch
