Produced by Tony Bongiovi and Lance Quinn, it is significant for being the only Bon Jovi album in which a song (InchShe Don't Know MeInch) appears that was not written or co-written by a member of the band. The album charted at No. 43 on the U.S. Billboard 200. Aside from the hit single InchRunawayInch, songs from the album were rarely performed live after Bon Jovi released their breakthrough album Slippery When Wet in 1986. However, on the band's 2010 Circle Tour, songs including InchRouletteInch, InchShot Through The HeartInch and InchGet ReadyInch were performed. The song InchShot Through the HeartInch should not be confused with the much more well-known InchYou Give Love a Bad NameInch from Slippery When Wet. Bon Jovi New Jersey [Remastered 2014] Though New Jersey contains several Jovi stadium anthems, including the single InchBad Medicine,Inch and though the album's videos showed that the intricately layered and feathered coiffures were intact, this is where Bon Jovi began changing. The title offers a broad hint as to what Jon Bon Jovi in particular was trying to change into short of renaming the album I Come from the Same Place as Bruce Springsteen, he could scarcely have been more obvious about his intentions.
