About this product
Vinyl LP pressing of this 2009 . Breaking through the dirt and shooting upward into our atmosphere is a new variety of exotic Bonnie 'Prince' Billy plant. Stronger. Stinkier. It blooms in low light and cold but thrives in the sun as well, showing enticing spots and eating small creatures as they wander into it's jaws. They had it coming, they were weak and you're next! Beware. Though Beware shares spit with it's immediate predecessor, Lie Down in the Light, it's reach is longer, it's arches more grandiose. Where fiddle and steel contribute their rustic timbre alongside guitars and voices, a thickening thud of low tone rolls beneath, giving the record a bottom that's fun to watch bounce in new clothes.

US LP pressing of the 2008 album, the follow up to the Letting Go, on Lie Down in the Light, Will Oldham decided to go back to where he recorded Master And Everyone and the results couldn't be better. The album arrives with a faster pace than usual Bonnie releases then settles into a low key groove. The song quality matches any of his releases and the recording is classic Mark Nevers. Since the of the Letting Go, Oldham has been working heavily in the film and music industries. He's starred in two films, released a covers EP and worked on records by Holly Throsby and Sun Kil Moon. This record is not being released digitally to protect it from being leaked and help record store sales.
