Needed accessory for Mevo camera
Certainly can understand why MEVO sells this separately - to keep the price down to be competitive. However, this is a really needed accessory. It is a battery pack, but it also has the USB input port for audio in as well as a network port for greater wireless use. More advanced users will appreciate these add-ons for the MEVO. Be ready for a bit of a learning curve to get everything to work - especially external audio, the mevo is a bit picky.

This makes the mevo camera so much better in the fact that you don't have to worry about power cables. This lasts 10 hours! Very worth it!

a necessary accessory to the Mevo
it may be sold separately, but you don’t want a Mevo (or Mevo+) without a boost. Primarily it makes the batery life useable. With the boost you have hours and hours, without it you have less than one. It also increases connectivity, making it easier to wire in a hard network connection, external audio, etc. It’s a bit pricy, but I wouldn’t have my (two) mevo’s without it.
