About this product
Born At Midnite is the faux-vanity project of Amery Sandford and David Carriere. Jamming strictly 'post-party' with a finish line posture - either completing or scrapping a song in a single evening - the Montreal based duo began writing together in late 2018. Employing samplers, tape machines, and an extemporaneous approach to songwriting, the duo establish an eerily familiar atmosphere through an unpolished lens of thin ice. Playing into whilst poking fun at our era's omnipresent narcissism and self indulgence, the group stitch together an unsponsored sort of 'product-placement-punk'. Amery Sandford is a visual artist and easy going pop songstress. She recently released her first solo record Amery - Continue As Amery. David Carriere is a producer, songwriter, and guitarist in the bands TOPS and Marci.More of the same dope S**t for your wimpy little ear holes.

Who is Born at Midnite and why should it matter to you? Born at Midnite are not your garden variety drag and drop producers, they are a vertically integrated song machine. Employing samplers, fake drums, tape machine, and in-house art, all at a work-from-home pace; for the last half decade the Montreal duo have been casually careening towards 'coolest band around' status. Playing into - whilst poking fun at - ', our era s omnipresent narcissism and self indulgence the group stitch together an unsponsored sort of ' product-placement-punk' So tell me what is up with their debut record? What is the inverse of a wish that comes with a terrible curse? It is something that nobody asked for but protects from eternal damnation; It's 'Eternal BAM Nation' the long awaited yet quickly constructed debut record from Born at Midnite. And you know these eleven and a half songs are stabbing at the heart of the matter.
Limited vinyl LP pressing. 2015 , the fourth album by singer/songwriter Ryan Lott and Co. Now, Son Lux is a band. A trio, to be exact; one that has meticulously woven together dizzying percussion, fraying guitar, symphonic bluster, and haunting vocals into a quaking and vivid post-pop (post-everything) burst called Bones. The album combines all of the architectural precision and aural inventiveness we've come to expect, with more immediacy and melody than ever. That's all to do with the crew. Features 'Change Is Everything', 'You Don't Know Me', 'Your Day Will Come', 'I Am The Others', 'Now I Want' and more.
