Study the rack and silverware basket to make sure it meets your requirements. In hindsight we shouldn't have cheaped out as the more expensive models have better systems. A few specifics: -the basket doesn't really have a home and is a big rectangle. It takes up allot of space. -the tines are very close together, its hard to fit plates with raised rims

Sooooo quiet!! 1st time we ran this dishwasher it was so quiet that we thought it wasn't working! Haha We bought this dishwasher to replace our very old. 22year-old bosch dishwasher that was still working. It had NEVER broke down and had never needed repair! We only purchased a new one because the technology has advanced so much since 2002 they clean so much better now.
