Terrible rack design

We replaced a Kenmore (made by Whirlpool), because this is supposed to be more dependable, but the racks are so bad I wish I hadn't. We like to put pans, bowls, measuring cups, etc. in along with the dishes. We could stuff our previous dishwasher with a mix of items. The Bosch is only suited to plates, eating bowls and utensils. The bottom rack has big spaces, so a bowl can extend down and block the rotating spray arm unless it is very carefully placed. The interior seems smaller than our previous machine so fewer pots and pans fit. Also there is no energy saving mode or 1 hour mode which we used on out Kenmore.

Very Clean - Hard to Load

I like the knife rack on top. It doesn’t fit wide bowls very well. Just can’t find the right spot for them. Holds more plates than my old GE, but fewer glasses and plates. Gets the dishes really clean.

I love the dishwasher -- so quiet and does a good job. The only thing I wish it had the controls on the top of the door. But I am managing. Thank you.
