Q: what is the amp of this bosch 36" electric cooktop?

A: Hi Today99. Thank you for your question. Model NET8668UC requires 50A.

Q: How can I get full installation instructions including a "cut sheet" for this product? The cabinet maker / kitchen designer says he needs that to finalize the design.

A: Hi, both of these are available under the "manuals" tab for this appliance on the Bosch website. We hope this helps!

Q: Where is this product made/assembled?

A: Hi 305FL954, thanks for your question. Our parent company, BSH Home Appliances, has a global network of manufacturing facilities from which Bosch products are engineered and built. With few exceptions, the majority of Bosch products for the North American marketplace are manufactured in our facilities in New Bern, North Carolina and La Follette, Tennessee. Products requiring specialized expertise are manufactured within our global network and built to our specifications.

Q: How do heat numbers align with heat. Is number 6 medium heat?

A: Hi Ace, thanks for your question. When selecting the desired heat level of the NET8668UC the elements can be set between heat level 1 (minimum power) to heat level 9 (maximum power), and each heat setting has an intermediate level as well.

Q: Are there any Bosch' 36" electric cooktops (with downdraft) that require only 30 amps?

A: Hi Today99. Thank you for your question. The 500 Series 36” Electric Cooktop is 40A and the 800 Series 36” Electric Cooktop is 50A.

Q: what is the exact cutout measurements? thanks so much.

A: Joey - see page 3 of the spec sheet. Per my contractor (who happens to be here and will be installing this cook-top in about 2 weeks), 37" (width) x 21.26" (depth) is what's on the spec sheet. We'll be installing granite counter tops so "your measurements may vary" medium depending. good luck!
