This sound bar is small in size, but easily fills my 25x19 living room with an incredible sound. I listened to several different brands of sound bars and kept coming back to the Bose SoundTouch 120. The salesmen at the Tacoma and Olympia Best Buy locations kept pushing another brand (Sonos) but the sales person in Lacey listened to my wife and I and didn't try to push us in any specific direction. (I had Sonos pushed by a Geek Squad guy at the Lacey location. Maybe it's a store brand with a better commission attached to it.) I love the Bose sound and this model produces a bass that is real without the rattle of some systems. Conversations from TV and movies are clear. Set up was easy as well.

This system is simply amazing, watching movies and sports is enhanced, the sound is so immersive, the wireless sub next to couch creates a depth of sound, highs and lows are tight! Watching movies is like watching in the theatre even when the volume is at 50% buy this today and enjoy incredible high quality sound for many years to come!

So far so good in a fairly large room it sounds fantastic!! 4K and Bluetooth works perfect for music.. Super easy hook up around (15min) . Crank it up and be amazed !!

My wife and I had been looking for a quality sound bar for a couple of weeks. We had decided to purchase one manufactured by Samsung. The sales person at Best Buy really listened to what we were looking for out of a sound bar. After listening to several different ones, he asked if we would be interested in a Bose system although they were a little bit more than we really wanted to spend. We are glad he asked, this system sounds great and doesn't take up as much room. The hook up and set up is super simple. It still amazes me to this day that such a quality sound can come from such a small device.

We purchased this product to replace a 15+ year old Bose system and liked the small size of this product and that it is wireless. The HD technology in the new system is a noticeable improvement compared to our old system (which was still in good working condition). We compared the sound quality to other systems and Bose had the best sound in our opinion. Although Bose is more expensive than most of its competitors, our experience with Bose is that quality is well worth the additional cost. It was extremely easy to install.

I purchased this unit to replace an existing Sony home theater system. It was very easy to set up and customize the sound. The ability to "recreate" a rear surround effect with no speakers is impressive. The wireless subwoofer unit is a good option and gives you flexibility on how you can install the system. The only shortcomings I have experienced have been an occasional loss of signal when listening to music via the Bluetooth connection (hence the four star rating) and the accompanying smart device App doesn't have many features that enhance the products usability. All in all, the product is well thought out, well made, easy to use and worth the money spent.

I went to Best Buy intending to buy the Bose Cinemate 15, but when I heard its sound then compared that with the sound of the Bose SoundTouch 120, there was no comparison. When I took the SoundTouch home, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the initial setup involved me wearing the microphone they supplied and sitting in four places where I would typically sit when watching TV. The system then played appropriate test sounds to calibrate the system. The end result is a soundbar that sounds great!

Don't let the size fool you here. I tested a few other of the larger available bars, and this little runt puts out the crisp, clear, and loud sound. The sub is included and is wireless which is great, and the hub is amazing as it allows you to connect all of your other tech stuff right into it, so you need less cables running up to your TV.

Easy setup & amazing sound! This little speaker system fills the room with quality sound. Also, I love the Bluetooth capability.

I was torn between the 120 and 130 systems, however, after comparing the two I decided 1 additional speaker on the 130 wasn't worth $300. Set up was easy, but time consuming. I was told by the Best Buy sales person that the system was fully wireless except for the hub, so was a bit disappointed to see that the soundbar actually requires a wire to connect to the hub and that only the sub was wireless. It was all worth it in the end. The sound is clearer and more crisp than the 3 other soundbars I have gone through. The lower range is spectacular and the fact that you feel like there are speakers behind you is mind blowing. I can't see myself ever leaving Bose after this purchase.

This system is so realistic that I have actually heard a sound ( example: bird chirp) to my right, left or behind me and turned to look. During Thanksgiving a guest of ours kept looking around and down the hall asking who or what was that sound. The Bose system fully surrounds you and pulls you in making you feel like your right there in the middle of the action. It's hard to believe 2 speakers that sit infront of you can sound so amazing on all sides of you. Thank you Nicholas from Best Buy Tulsa for recommending this to us.

Easy to set up and connect to home Wifi. After pulling all the components out of the box, I had it running in 10-15min. It comes with an HDMI cable to connect it to the TV. The Wireless subwoofer can be placed anywhere in the room. Sound quality is clear and rich from both the soundbar and subwoofer. Soundbar has 5 speakers - 3 front and 1 on each side so it will blast sound throughout any room. The SoundTouch software is easy to setup and sync to a music library on a PC. Install the app on your phone or tablet and you can use it as a remote control for your music.

The set up with simple. The sound is great! Once you get to the app said it can get kind of tricky, but Kaline my friend was IT savvy and help me through it. No issues yet. I've had it for one month

At first I couldn't believe how much sound a very small soundbar could put out, but this thing really packs a punch. I don't even remember what it was like watching football/movies without this thing on anymore. great buy for my bday thanks to the wife!

An excellent sounds system. Surround sound functions flawlessly. Was simple to install. Definitely on the pricey side of cost but worth the money.

I say bravo to Bose. I had my eye on this system since they put up the display at my local Best Buy. I would initiate the Demo every time I visited the store, what amazing sound this system produces I always thought. My system at home consisted of a Pioneer VSX-1124-K, Klipsch Quintet 5 ch speakers and a Klipsch subwoofer. I thought I was getting amazing sound until I switched to the SoundTouch 120 system. Not only is it smaller and more compact but the sound is stunning. I read a lot of reviews were people had problems with the wireless acousti-mass, I had none. As a matter of fact, I love the way it is very inconspicuous and completely louder than my much larger Klipsch Sub woofer. In addition, the assembly was very straight forward. I am using my own Logitech Harmony One remote and there is no issue with that. One thing I would like to add is that the BlueTooth on the unit works flawlessly. I had made up my mind that I was going to have to spend more time in the attic running wires all over the house. I am going to purchase the other Bose SoundTouch wireless systems and just place them around the house. It really makes more sense to do it that way vs running wires all over the house and cutting holes in the sheet rock. I purchased the unit on sale $300 less than the regular price so i am completely ecstatic.

Blew my expectations away. Love this sound system. This is a very compact system that put out extreme sound. I would buy this 20 times over!

Its is a good system, however, it lack good strong bass. I wish Bose would recongize people want bass as well as even low's. Hint, be sure to move your wireless bass speaker at least 10ft from tv for the best sound. Also I wish the volume would show numbers instead of just a level on the system, that so 1990's. Quote: Bose, not as good as they once was, but its as good once as it ever was.
