Installed this Boss BE7ACP in my 2017 Subaru Crosstrek and overall, I'm happy with it. It has a nice, intuitive GUI and the screen responds quickly. The sound is also pretty good and the unit has several preset equalizer settings allows for user settings. The main reason I wanted this was for the Android Auto and Apple Car Play. It functions quite well for this, however, I'm disappointed with the map resolution and brightness in Android Auto. In sunlight it can be difficult to see no matter how bright you make the screen settings. It also has an annoying habit of not going back to Android Auto after the back up camera has been activated. It returns you to the main menu and you have to select Android Auto again. Lame. If you have the budget for a higher end headunit, you should probably spring for it and get a better screen, but this isn't a bad buy at all.

Had this done on my 2012 F-150. Best buy installed it and did a great job! Works well and it's better than I expected. Had to buy a harness, and some other components too. So beware of that. The radio itself may be $230, but the other components needed brought the total to about $500. Pictures show before and after. I use Android auto.

I love this radio I use it every day in the car and when my old car got totaled, I took the radio out and put it in my new car and works great even boss sent me a new mic because my old one craped out. I have me reverse cam, front cam and trailer cam all hooked up to it along with my iPhone for apple CarPlay, SD card for extra music and I changed the background to a photo I love.

Awesome head unit for the price. Fitment needed modifications for my 2004 Ford Ranger but everything fits nicely now. Screen is very responsive and I have had no issues with CarPlay. Only issue that I have is that when I am not using CarPlay and I pull into a place where people have their Bluetooth on ( basically any public place), it spams Bluetooth pairing prompts even when Bluetooth is off. Built in preamp made my factory speakers sound really good.

Had two radios in my truck before this one, and I wish this was the first one I put it it’s amazing and would highly recommend it to anyone. Apple car play and a lot of eq adjustment and sounds amazing I love mine would definitely be during another one for my other vehicle.

Definitely recommend it’s worth the price I got it installed there as well and it works great both the Apple car play and Bluetooth has cool settings and fits great in a Jeep Compass one thing is that the USB port does stick out if you don’t have one near by and if you don’t like it can be an issue but I don’t mind

Good cheap radio so far so good haven’t found a problem with it as of now , can’t beat the $229 price tag even has apple car play and sounds great in my 17 wrx it was a lil big to put in my kit but I made it work .

OEM radio for 2004 Toyota Matrix broke. Bought this to replace. Looks way nicer than I thought it would. Resolution ain’t too bad either. Longevity, not sure how long it’ll last but for now I’m pleased.

Sounds great.Finally I’m able to connect my phone to a Bluetooth device which has car play which amazes me.

I am very happy with my purchase even though I spent the extra hundred on a Pax unit that would allow me to have steering wheel controls but it doesn't so the head unit is good but not great. Looks sleek in the car thou

I love my new stereo. The only thing I’m not happy about the button on my steering wheel that is supposed to be the next track button and the hang up on a Bluetooth call button only does the next track it doesn’t hang up I have to hit the hang up button on the screen

I haven’t had this installed but so far I am very pleased. This was a Christmas gift for my son and he was so grateful can’t wait to have it installed.

Everything works amazing the only thing is on applecarplay . When i get a facetime call it on my end it sounds muffler but my friend says they can hear me perfectly cause of the mic it comes with so maybe its on my part other then that its really good

Sound quality is great! Pairs great with my iPhone. The screen quality is very bright. Fits perfectly in my Chrysler 200. I definitely recommend. I got this installed by the geek squad, and they were very fast & knowledgeable. I left very happy. I’m so glad I chose this car play.
