A: No, tools not really required much except mounting and wire stripping/crimping. Yes, fits in the MC will likely need an adapter kit to connect to head unit. And we used this on pioneer 10” subs but it will drive any very well. Sounds good.

Good little amp!
Have it pushing 1000W Matrix shallow mount 12' in Q power single downfire enclosure. It slams, this product is perfect for quality basic system. This isnt competition amp, but it will absolutely slam a quality 12 or pair of 10's. Tested it on a basic cheap set of 12s and it knocks nicely...but... spend the extra $50-$75 and go to one high end 12 or 15. You'll thank me later and actually have trunk space
