The GX-1 Guitar Multi-Effects Processor delivers professional-grade BOSS sound in an ultra-portable format for practice, recording and performance. Powered by algorithms inherited from the GX series, it gives guitarists access to 23 AIRD amplifier types, over 140 effects and eight simultaneous effect blocks, plus a volume pedal and noise suppressor for building detailed custom setups. The intuitive interface features a high-resolution colour display and hexagon-shaped effect category buttons, making it easy to turn effects on or off, edit parameters and create tones from scratch. Gear Suite helps speed up sound creation by recalling professionally tuned amp and effect settings with a simple knob turn, while 99 preset memories and 99 user memories provide plenty of space for ready-to-play and customised sounds. On stage, three assignable footswitches and an expression pedal with toe switch offer real-time control over effects, parameters and performance functions, with support for expanded wired or wireless control. For practice and production, the GX-1 connects via Bluetooth for playing along with songs and USB-C for recording into compatible music production software on a computer or mobile device. The BOSS Tone Studio app adds deeper editing, session tools, rhythms, metronome features and access to BOSS Tone Exchange for downloading and sharing Livesets. With flexible power options including AA batteries, AC adaptor or USB power, the GX-1 is a compact creative companion for beginning players, experienced guitarists and travelling performers who need versatile tone in a portable setup.
