I recently installed four pairs of Bowers & Wilkins CCM 683 8" 2-Way In-Ceiling Speakers throughout my house, each pair powered by its own Sonos amp, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From the moment I started listening, it was immediately clear that Bowers & Wilkins maintains the level of quality they’re known for — the sound is exceptionally clear and crisp, with incredible detail across the entire frequency range. Vocals, instruments, and cinematic effects all come through with remarkable fidelity, and the in-ceiling placement doesn’t compromise the audio at all. Using as rear surround ceilings, they provide the sound and clarity I was looking for, they can handle and amount of volume you give it with no issues, a but pricey is their only downfall, you can get a nice set of bookshelf pairs for less

Replaced my floor standing Bowers & Wilkins with these and was pleasantly surprised at the clarity and overall sound quality. I did build backer boxes that help with sound direction and base levels. The install was very easy and I like the clean look they provide.

I installed 4 of these for my home theater. They are being used for a 7.2 setup as my SL(2) and SR(2) speakers. I paired them with B&W CM10 S2's and a CM Centre 2 S2 on the front stage. The overall sound output is superb. The clarity and detail of sound out of B&W is great. These are a great speaker for music and theater if you budget supports it.

I installed these for our kitchen ceiling. I had first tried Sonance Magnolia's due to cost but since we have CCM 663's in other rooms, the difference was very noticeable. Bowers & Wilkins have such amazing full sound, so I paid the premium. Even my wife can notice the difference.

I have two of these in the big room, combined with CCM663's and the 683's out perform them as the Magnolia team said they would. You can turn these up with no static and no worries about blowing them up.

Good highs and adequate lows for speaker ceiling. Good clarity and easy installation.

Can say any thing negative easy to setup and mount and extremely great sound.

These are a great set of ceiling speakers for the price and i am not sure you can do much better if you already like BW

Bought this 8 inch speaker to use as an atmos height speakers. Have to agree its an an overkill with the current contents , the amount of sound . But if you can use this as a zone 2 speakers .It would be worth the money

Excellent speaker, ultimate sound, upgrade from 6” speakers

I upgraded to these B&W683’s and put backer boxes on them because they are in the ceiling. After the installation and they sound great and even better after using them for a while.

This speaker carries on the excellent tradition of Bowers & Wilkens speakers. They are clear sounding with no distortion. Very life-like.

love these speakers! thorough updating, new tv, ceiling speakers, receiver to achieve Atmos. couple of trips as things came in...all the guys were great !

Just upgraded to the CCM683 and the sound is a great improvement over my Polk Speakers of 10 years.

After extensive research and the best bang for your money these speakers are the best for your in home cinema theater highly recommended .

I have four of these is a 15x17 exercise room and really fills the room. The ability to tune the direction is great. Great sound.

Speakers arrived without damage. Brand is known for quality. Looking forward to good sound quality.
