Expensive but WORTH IT
I recently installed four pairs of Bowers & Wilkins CCM 683 8" 2-Way In-Ceiling Speakers throughout my house, each pair powered by its own Sonos amp, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Sound amazing
Using as rear surround ceilings, they provide the sound and clarity I was looking for, they can handle and amount of volume you give it with no issues, a but pricey is their only downfall, you can get a nice set of bookshelf pairs for less

Great speaker option
Replaced my floor standing Bowers & Wilkins with these and was pleasantly surprised at the clarity and overall sound quality. I did build backer boxes that help with sound direction and base levels. The install was very easy and I like the clean look they provide.
