Excelent with my tube amp SLI 80 signature amp from cary Audio and my focal 936V chorus... Bowers & wilkins formation sounds amazing!!!!! Now I added wireless sound to my analog system!!! with this audio streming media player my music sound so good Itune! and tidal!..

Just got it today and it’s exactly what one should expect from Bowers. Looks great, sounds even better and a breeze to use. Considering a second.

Speakers: BW 685 S1 — Reciever : Arcam A25. The formation streamer does the job. It lets me stream BT and Airplay2 for hi res with Tidal. Sound quality wise it is nothing special. Not quite sure what DAC BW is using but the ESS chip in the A25 is way better with detail and soundstage. Tech wise, it does not have 5ghz wifi so you have to use ethernet if you want stable connection. Software wise, it works. Nothing special. Bottom line: buy if you get it for a steal. Otherwise much better streamers on the market.

I like being able to stream my other audio equipment like a CD to my Formation speakers it sounds very good .The other ting I can send the music to other rooms .

It worked immediately, along with the two Formation Flex and the Subwoofer in mu Living room space

This is necessary if you want to invest on the formation eco system
