A: Yes. It has 13 length settings with only 4 combs.( 0.5-21mm)
Q: Does this work for haircut?
A: I like it for a haircut. Easy to maneuver around my head and easy to adjust the cutting length. The 'longest' setting at 21 mm is close to a #7 barber's attachment. You can go progressively shorter as needed. I don't have a beard so can't speak to its value there.
