Saving our sanity!!
This microwave is literally improving our mental health. We have a very open concept home and our previous microwave was causing serious stress from all its noises-early morning and late night slamming of the door, clanks, beeps, rattles, motor noise, you know. This Breville microwave is superior in every way! It’s the perfect size and looks fantastic-a touch of retro that anyone can appreciate, a display you can actually see, simple and user friendly buttons, etc. The time setting knob is perfect-you turn it to the first time which is :30, then you can back it up to less for a quick reheat. I’d always forget on the other microwaves and overheat my items. The motor is so much quieter than any other microwave I have owned-no annoying, loud buzzing, humming, cycling, etc. The interior light is actually bright so you can see your food cooking. Now, let’s talk about that glorious door!! An actual soft close microwave door-woo hoo! 2 weeks in and it still works great. Others have reviewed that theirs stopped working. You do have to give it some momentum for it to catch and soft close, but no slamming required. Even if the self closing portion ever stops working correctly, as long as it doesn’t clunk when it closes, I’ll still love it. And the grand finale-you can turn off all the sounds!! No more annoying, not necessary to be loud beeps! The beep it has is just loud enough, but we will never use it-a silent microwave is the best thing ever!! Have I said enough good things about this microwave? No more teenagers slamming the door at night, no more beeping at 5 am when hubby heats up his breakfast. Life is good again!!

The Breville Microwave is perfect for our family!
The Breville Microwave is compact, attractive and easy to use. I chose it with my mother in mind because she has visual impairments. The raised ON and OFF buttons are easy for her to locate. So, she can use it by herself and this gives her a measure of independence. We heat up small meals and large cups of coffee. And I appreciate the "soft close" door that closes with a gentle push. Yes, we recommend it and think you'll like it, too.

Love this
The soft closing door actually works. (Specifically for midnight snack).It also has a convenient large green button that allows you to set microwaving time at 30 seconds for each time you touch the button. This is a smaller size microwave oven than previous ones we have had but its size works well for us.
