This microwave is literally improving our mental health. We have a very open concept home and our previous microwave was causing serious stress from all its noises-early morning and late night slamming of the door, clanks, beeps, rattles, motor noise, you know. This Breville microwave is superior in every way! It’s the perfect size and looks fantastic-a touch of retro that anyone can appreciate, a display you can actually see, simple and user friendly buttons, etc. The time setting knob is perfect-you turn it to the first time which is :30, then you can back it up to less for a quick reheat. I’d always forget on the other microwaves and overheat my items. The motor is so much quieter than any other microwave I have owned-no annoying, loud buzzing, humming, cycling, etc. The interior light is actually bright so you can see your food cooking. Now, let’s talk about that glorious door!! An actual soft close microwave door-woo hoo! 2 weeks in and it still works great. Others have reviewed that theirs stopped working. You do have to give it some momentum for it to catch and soft close, but no slamming required. Even if the self closing portion ever stops working correctly, as long as it doesn’t clunk when it closes, I’ll still love it. And the grand finale-you can turn off all the sounds!! No more annoying, not necessary to be loud beeps! The beep it has is just loud enough, but we will never use it-a silent microwave is the best thing ever!! Have I said enough good things about this microwave? No more teenagers slamming the door at night, no more beeping at 5 am when hubby heats up his breakfast. Life is good again!!

The Breville Microwave is compact, attractive and easy to use. I chose it with my mother in mind because she has visual impairments. The raised ON and OFF buttons are easy for her to locate. So, she can use it by herself and this gives her a measure of independence. We heat up small meals and large cups of coffee. And I appreciate the "soft close" door that closes with a gentle push. Yes, we recommend it and think you'll like it, too.

I like this microwave. I needed a compact microwave to fit on an 11” shelf. I wanted one that was quiet. This microwave for the bill! I opened up the drywall so the microwave could sit farther back and I added a large vent on the other side of the wall. I love the soft close door feature and that I can mute the sound. Note: The silver finish doesn’t match stainless steel appliances. Only the door handle, knob and a small band on the bottom are shiny stainless steel. Note to Breville: I would have paid extra to have a true stainless steel finish and some of the features of their higher end microwaves in a compact size.

The soft closing door actually works. (Specifically for midnight snack).It also has a convenient large green button that allows you to set microwaving time at 30 seconds for each time you touch the button. This is a smaller size microwave oven than previous ones we have had but its size works well for us.

Pricey but worth it. Very quiet when running and you can silence the beeper. Controls are sensible and easy to use. Size and styling are a plus in a small space. The soft close door with a handle is a nice design touch.

This microwave was exactly what I was looking for. I have limited countertop space in my small kitchen, and this fits perfectly, allowing me enough space for cooking. It also looks really cute and is super easy to figure out (no manual reading required). And it's still pretty powerful for a small microwave. I haven't had to add much cooking time to heat things up properly, It can fit a regular sized dinner plate or large soup bowl. Highly recommend.

This microwave is perfect for my space and is easy to use. I like the way you turn the knob to select times. And seems very well built.

Absolutely LOVE my new Breville Compact Wave Soft Close Microwave Love the simple display panel, auto on button set at 30 seconds. That’s what I use most of the time anyway. AND the easy dial to change time is super easy. PLUS LOVE option to mute the beeping AND disable the door lock. Oh, and the soft closing door makes a HUGE difference. Friends spent the weekend and LOVED the microwave too. Commented how simple and easy my microwave was to use. Give my Breville microwave a 10 +++

I wanted a small footprint, quiet and attractive microwave for our master bedroom closet. This little microwave is perfect! Cooks food evenly, controls feel high end, bright LED light, door mechanism is quiet and the ability to mute the typical beeping on a microwave check all the boxes for us.

This is the perfect size counter top microwave. It’s compact, powerful and looks great too! We keep it in our pantry - it’s been an ideal addition. We’ve recommended it to friends who also love it.

I really call this a space saver yet a great microwave. It’s the first I’ve ever seen that locks when you hit start. A safety feature for kids to not get burned also you can mute the beep when it’s done !!!

Due to COVID-19 restrictions had to buy online with curbside pick up so made the decision process interesting. Bought a GE and returned it, bought the Samsung and returned it. These first 2 felt cheap and the doors were cheap. Bought The Breville and love it! Heavy sturdy for a small microwave and Great quality.

Nice little microwave, it’s the perfect size for our kitchen rack. The soft close door and easy to use panel makes it feel high quality.

Love the soft close door, large easy to use door handle, and easy large dial to set the cook time. Compact and handy and doesn't take over the kitchen space. Love having a quiet microwave door closure. Roll of paper towels for size comparison.

Thought I would miss the old very large wave that this one is replacing.. Not at all ! Our things heat up evenly now. Much nicer and better quality by far

This microwave is a beautiful addition to our kitchen. It is the perfect size and what I love the most is the bright Red and Green buttons. My elderly parents can't see well nor do they know how to operate the microwave so having these bright big buttons is very helpful. The door does not slam when closed, but has a soft close which is refreshing. Doesn't wake me up from my naps.. The dial is very nice and smooth, easier to set the timer. Overall, I recommend this microwave to all, especially for the elderly.

I love just how different this is and easy to use. I love how you can turn the dial to set the time for the food. Its super quiet and cooks food evenly. It feels amd looks so modern. I have had many compliments from friends and family. I would definitely buy this again.

If you need a capable microwave and space is a premium, then this is the model to get. It is also a good choice for someone that does not need a large microwave and prefers a minimalist footprint. This microwave could not be easier to use. All the controls are clearly labeled. If you have used a microwave before you will have no problem with its operation. It features a knob for setting the cook time. I find the knob useful because it allows the cooking time to be easily adjusted and set. The microwave door opens and closes with remarkable precision and smoothness. Once you try it you will know exactly what I mean. VERDICT: I cannot emphasize enough how impressed I am with the build quality and appearance. It has a premium appearance that will look great in any style kitchen. This microwave is exceptionally well manufactured and exceeded my expectations in every way. It looks good, has a nice feature set, and most importantly has more than enough power to handle any cooking job you throw at it.
