Very robust perfect for home business. We needed 2-sided scan so that limits our choice. Wanted the new tank-type in an Epson but it just didn't have all the features we needed. Got this on sale even cheaper than the top of the line Epson. With all the features it's a little bigger than we wanted but it is FAST! Great software that's super easy to set up on our home WiFi. We're happy with this choice.

I have used this printer in my classroom for a full school year as well as for personal use, making 1,000's of color copies. I have only recently replaced any ink. Beautiful, clear color printing and easy to use. Additional features include 11”x17” ledger print, copy, scan and fax, single-pass duplex copying & scanning and cloud printing & scanning directly from the touchscreen

I have a few Brother printers and they all work great. The weakest part of any of these printers is getting it connected to the network. i.e. it an be very frustrating for someone with limited network skills. If you gotten that far, its a great machine. Photo paper prints are acceptable after working a bit on the contrast. I didn't buy this machine to print pictures so as an all in one I give it a 4, with WI-FI improvement it could have been a 5. Also don't like that there is not an custom selection for scanning paper.

If you read a few reviews on printers that can handle 11x17 paper this unit is fantastic and the ongoing cost of ownership (ink cost) makes it a winner. Yes it scan, in color, but not the entire 11x17 page is scanned. Not a deal breaker but be aware. Scan quality is good. It’s not a $1000 multifunction machine but it’s great for the $

2nd tray is a plus - able to dedicate to 11x17. Versatile functions for copying / scanning multiple paper sizes and orientations in various file types. Able to adjust quality to aid in saving ink and speed when desired. Scanning accurate color is difficult - not recommended for presentation scanning. Scans white trace paper with well defined marker lines in all colors eliminating background noise. Printing color is improved with high gloss color paper - acceptable for graphic work distributed to current clients for routine work. Does not equal laser quality for a proposal or public distribution of graphic marketing material. Excellent printer for price with needed functions dedicating a tray for 11x17 paper size.

Happy with the performance overall. Only shortcoming is that the color print quality for photos is not as crisp as I would like. Easy to set-up. Connects with wireless network with no problem.

Finally rid of the HP Printer! This has been a great investment, uses 1/2 the ink of the HP, no network and connection issues and no bloat ware. Love it.

We have bought—then returned—printers by Epson and HP, as they were too difficult to set up and did not perform as advertised. We are a low volume household, doing lots of pro bono work for church and other civic organizations. Need to copy, scan, and print two-sided tabloid. The Brother does the job and is Mac-friendly.

Nice product. Would recommend to other small businesses. Copier can handle various jobs. Seems a little cheap but suits our purposes. Have to remember to pull out tray after switching paper.

I purchased the MFC-J6945 DW "InkVestment Tank" led me to believe this print er had refillable Ink Tanks like my Epson has. I asked the sales person if this printer indeed had refillable Ink Tanks and they confirmed it did. This was incorrect. It has other features that may out weigh having to purchase individual ink cartridges. Scanning and printing legal size is a plus.

We have been using Brother printers to print color on 11 by 17 paper for several years now. This one works great.

The best printer you can buy for a medium business. High speed, excellent print quality and above-average performance for professional-level tasks.

This printer has a huge number of features. With two trays plus the "manual feed" tray I can load letter, legal and tabloid. It comes with more ink than most starters, and nearly stuff months later I haven't run out. Print over the network from Mac, Windows and iOS. I have scanned to a connected computer and a USB stick.

Perfect for my home office! Very user friendly! I highly recommend!
