Like all inkjet cartridges, it "runs out" before it actually runs out, so that's not exactly the best business model. However, the quality is good.

It does if job, but I hate how often I need to change out printer cartridges even when I only print mainly black and white. Works fine but I spend too much on ink.

Hello, stated page yields for genuine Brother cartridges are based on the ISO testing standards. The number of pages that can be printed with a cartridge is affected by several factors, including paper size, number of pages per print job, amount of print on each page, font size, and print content (graphics, charts, etc.).
