Bruno Berle - No Reino Dos Afetos 2 - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Dutch rock band Shocking Blue was at their peak in the 60s and 70s and gained major cross-Atlantic success. The band was founded in 1967 and is most known for their single 'Venus' (with which they became the first Dutch band ever to reach the first spot on the American Billboard Hot 100). The band had a series of subsequent hits and their influence reached well beyond their generation. This 2024 remastered edition from the original 1970 mix by Robbie van Leeuwen includes none less than four bonus tracks that were not featured on the original LP 'Send Me A Postcard', 'Mighty Joe', 'Hello Darkness' & 'Pickin' Tomatoes.'

Here, Matthias Kirschnereit releases his new album InchConcertantInch on Berlin Classics. On this album he dedicates himself to Schumann's world-famous Piano Concerto, but also to the less well-known but no less impressive Concert Pieces for piano and orchestra. He is supported by the Konzerthausorchester Berlin under Jan Willem de Vriend. InchRobert Schumann is one of my favorite composers! And there are no end of works by him that are relatively unknown, even in the music fraternity,Inch says Matthias Kirschnereit with eyes that light up. For many years now, he has been rated one of Germany's most successful pianists. His previous album, InchFrei aber einsamInch featuring recordings of works by Brahms, was recently acclaimed by critics and music-lovers alike. He has been successfully associated over many years with his musical partners heard on the Concertant album. Matthias Kirschnereit and the Konzerthausorchester Berlin under Jan Willem de Vriend have produced an album full of calm virtuosity, authentic insights and an ardent passion for Robert Schumann on the present .
