About this product
Music Evolution is the second and last album by the all-star jazz/hip-hop/R&B fusion project Buckshot LeFonque. Led by none other than jazz saxophonist Branford Marsalis, the project was named after Buckshot La Funke, a one-time pseudonym used by alto sax legend Cannonball Adderley for contractual reasons. The album peaked at number 8 on the Billboard Top Contemporary Jazz Albums chart and features guest performances by rapper Guru, Laurence Fishburne, and the highly regarded session musician David Sanborn. While his brother Wynton holds conservative views regarding jazz, his brother is quite the opposite; here, we see him effortlessly embracing and fusing hip-hop, R&B, and rock into a sonic explosion infused with the joy of playing, to paraphrase People magazine. The track InchAnother DayInch reached number 65 in the UK singles chart in December 1997. Music Evolution is available as a limited edition of 1000 copies on 180g pink coloured vinyl and includes an insert.

Boxed set containing deluxe CD and double colored vinyl LP pressing. 2017 , the 14th studio album from the Irish quartet. Songs of Experience was produced by Jacknife Lee and Ryan Tedder with Steve Lillywhite, Andy Barlow, and Jolyon Thomas. The album is intended to be a companion piece to U2's previous record, Songs of Innocence (2014). Whereas it's predecessor explored the group members' adolescence in Ireland in the 1970s, Songs of Experience thematically is a collection of letters written by lead vocalist Bono to people and places closest to his heart. The personal nature of the lyrics reflects a brush with mortality that he had during the album's recording. Includes the single You're the Best Thing About Me.
