Buffaloed - BLU-RAY

Looking for a lifetime to escape her working-class environs in Buffalo, New York, Peggy Dahl (Zoey Deutch) was smart enough to get an Ivy League acceptance... and dumb enough to go down for ticket counterfeiting. Out of jail and stuck doing menial labor, she happens upon the fine art of debt collection as the best use for her skill set. Director Tanya Wexler's pitch-dark comic consideration of the American Dream also stars Judy Greer, Jai Courtney, Jermaine Fowler, Noah Reid. 95 mininutes

Buffalo stars William McCallum in a powerful role as Roger, a lonely cab driver who is diagnosed with a terminal illness. He is shaken by the sudden death of his ex-wife, and steals a cab from his job and sets out to find the son he hasn't seen in more than 30 years.

C.I.A. Agent Billy Brown (Vincent Gallo) brings his wife home to meet his absurdly dysfunctional family. Only Billy's not really in the C.I.A., and his Inchwife,Inch Layla (Christina Ricci), is actually a young tap dancer he just kidnapped to impress his ridiculous and unloving parents (Anjelica Huston, Ben Gazzara). in reality, Billy's whole life is an empty lie. He's fresh out of prison and now on a deadly mission to hunt down and kill the Buffalo Bills kicker whose botched field goal he believes ruined his life. However, Billy's new hostage may ruin everything. Their crazy attachment blossoms into a desperate and oddly beautiful romance that may or may not be a sweet enough substitute for revenge. Vincent Gallo composed and performed the original music and also wrote, directed and stars in the film that THE NEW YORK TIMES calls, Inch... a deadpan originalInch.
