To this day, the Slavonic Dances remain Dvorák's most popular work. They represent his own quintessential musical style, which competently plays with a masterly invented folklorism. Although Dvorák himself wrote an orchestral arrangement for each of the dances, the piano versions, which are incredibly demanding in terms of technique, remain the unsurpassable original. One could even say that the dances in this most purest of all versions sound endlessly more colorful than any instrumental version. Chroma is a Jacksonville based trio of musicians who hold their roots in melodic song writing and progressive, psychedelic rock while gracefully stepping into the realms of bluegrass, barbershop, and classical music. Drummer Alex Hayward, bassist Adam Mantovani, and guitarist Paul Miller create an energetic live show that is capturing the attention of audiences around the southeast festival and club scene. Chroma is set to their first album as a trio, 'Turn the Lights On'. This album is a representation of the strong song-writing capabilities of Miller and Hayward and has a strong focus on funk and rock which are staples of this trio's musical voice. Chroma has been honored to be selected as one of the bands to play for each 2010 Jacksonville Jaguars home game. In 2007, Chroma was chosen from hundreds of artists as the winner of WXPN's 'Best of Philly Rising' year-long battle of the bands. Chroma has backed up artists such as DJ Logic, George Clinton and John Popper of Blues Traveler at the George Clinton Superbowl party, and shared the stage with acts such as Donovan Frankenreiter, Perpetual Groove, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, and Robert Walters. Chroma has also been seen at Festivals with acts such as Keller Williams, Mofro, Col. Bruce Hampton, The Codetalkers, Tishamingo, Stop Drop & Roll, and New Monsoon.

Royal Coda, the Sacramento quintet comprised of members from Dance Gavin Dance, A Lot Like Birds, Eiodla and Sianvar, shot to critical acclaim with the of their self-titled debut album in 2018.
