C. Debussy - La Mer / Images / Prelude A L'apres - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

La Mer is one of Debussy's most universally admired orchestral works. By contrast, his Première Suite d'Orchestre was lost for more than a century, and came as a complete discovery in 2013 when Les Siècles made the world premiere recording, played on instruments of the period. This brand-new remastering is an ideal opportunity to view in a fresh light the career of a composer we thought we'knew everything about. Album Tracks 1. Debussy Première Suite D'orchestre, L. 50A I. In a series of five compact discs WERGO releases Claude Debussy's complete works for piano - masterly played by Nina Tichman. Music is for Debussy part of nature, originating from it and returning to it. As a sensitive mediator it allows one a glimpse of an original state of things in which man and nature were one - and at the same time documents painfully the loss of this original state. Expressions like Inchmusic of silenceInch and Inchmusic in the open airInch are key expressions in understanding Debussy's works. Album Tracks 1. Nocturne Des-Dur 2. Prélude Assez Animé Et TRÈS Rythmé 3. Sarabande Avec Une Élégance Grave Et Lente 4. Toccata Vif 5. Pièce Pour L'oeuvre Du Vêtement Du Blessé 6. Morceau de Concours 7.
