About this product
Need to reach an outlet that's just out of range, or free up blocked sockets on a crowded power strip or UPS? This Cable Leader power extension cord adds grounded NEMA 5-15 reach so you can place computers, monitors, and printers exactly where you need them. Built with heavy-duty 16 AWG conductors, a flexible SJT jacket, and fully molded 3-prong plugs for safe, reliable everyday power. Compatible with any device using a standard NEMA 5-15P plug — desktops, monitors, printers, scanners, UPS battery backups, and AC adapters — but it is not a surge protector or voltage converter. Rated 13A/125V (1625W max) for indoor use. Best for: extending or repositioning standard 120V home and office equipment. Not for: outdoor wet locations, 240V appliances, or loads above 13A. UL and cUL listed, CSA approved, and RoHS compliant.

Extends Reach & Frees Up Crowded Outlets
Reach a distant wall outlet or stop bulky AC adapters from blocking neighboring sockets on a power strip, surge protector, or UPS. Ideal for home offices, workstations, server racks, and entertainment centers where a device sits just out of reach of its existing cord.
Heavy-Duty 16 AWG, Grounded 13A / 125V (1625W)
Thicker 16 AWG copper carries up to 13A at 125V (1625W) with less voltage drop than thin 18 AWG cords, running cooler under sustained load. The 3-prong grounded NEMA 5-15 design gives sensitive electronics a dedicated ground path for safe, stable power.
Fits Any NEMA 5-15 Device — Not a Surge Protector
Connects anything with a standard 3-prong NEMA 5-15P plug. Quick check: Desktop PC, monitor, printer — Yes. UPS battery backup, AC adapter — Yes. Game console, AV receiver — Yes. 240V appliance or built-in surge protection — No. This is a passive extension cord; for surge protection, pair it with a dedicated surge protector.
Fully Molded Plugs & Flexible SJT Jacket
Fully molded NEMA 5-15P and 5-15R connectors with integrated strain relief stand up to repeated plugging and unplugging. The flexible SJT thermoplastic jacket resists abrasion and stays pliable in cool rooms, while solid molded ends prevent the wire pull-out common on bargain cords.
Sample-Tested Production — Cable Leader Direct Support
Each cord is sample-tested during production for continuity and current rating, and carries UL, cUL, and CSA safety listings. Manufactured to RoHS environmental standards. If your cord arrives defective or stops working in normal use, Cable Leader handles replacement requests directly — no manufacturer redirects.

Tired of a bulky plug that sticks out, blocks the next outlet, or won't fit behind a TV or desk? This Cable Leader ultra low-profile extension cord uses a 45-degree angled NEMA 5-15P plug that sits flat against the wall, freeing the adjacent outlet on a power strip or surge protector and tucking neatly into tight spaces. Built with fully molded 16 AWG conductors, a flexible SJT jacket, and a 3-prong grounded design for safe, reliable everyday power. Compatible with any device using a standard NEMA 5-15P plug — desktops, monitors, HDTVs, printers, and AC adapters — but it is not a surge protector or voltage converter. Rated 13A/125V (1625W max) for indoor use. Best for: powering equipment in tight spaces behind furniture, TVs, and crowded power strips. Not for: outdoor wet locations, 240V appliances, or loads above 13A. UL and cUL listed and RoHS compliant.
Powering a high-draw device — a server rack, space heater, window AC, or large appliance — and need more reach without risking a thin, overheating cord? This Cable Leader 14 AWG heavy-duty power extension cord delivers grounded NEMA 5-15 reach rated for the full 15A/125V (1875W). Built with thick 14 AWG conductors, a flexible SJT jacket, and fully molded 3-prong plugs for safe, reliable power under heavy load. Compatible with any device using a standard NEMA 5-15P plug — servers, PDUs, monitors, printers, UPS battery backups, AC units, and appliances — but it is not a surge protector or voltage converter. Rated 15A/125V (1875W max) for indoor use. Best for: heavy-gauge power extension to high-draw 120V equipment. Not for: outdoor wet locations, 240V appliances, or loads above 15A/1875W. UL and cUL listed, CSA approved, and RoHS compliant.
This power cord extension adds reach to a power cable you already own, or connects equipment straight to a rack outlet. The fully molded IEC 60320 C14 male plug mates with any C13 outlet on a PDU, UPS, surge protector, or the C13 end of an existing wall cord, while the C13 female end fits any device with a standard C14 power inlet - desktop computers, servers, network switches, monitors, printers and scanners. As an IEC C13 power cord built on heavy-duty 16 AWG three-conductor copper with a flexible SJT jacket rated to 105C (221F), this 3-prong extension power cord carries 13A at 250V, a full amp step above the 10A 18 AWG cords normally supplied in the box. Fully molded strain relief at both ends resists cracking where the cable meets the connector. UL Listed. Best for: extending a C14-inlet device to a PDU or UPS in a rack, data center or workstation, and replacing a lost or worn power cord extender. Not for: wall outlets - this cord has no NEMA plug; and not for C5, C15 or C19 inlets, or equipment drawing more than 13A.
